Y/N looked down at the masked man who was poking Tanjiro on the cheek.
"Looks like his blade might turn red, right, Urokodaki-san?" The man asked, who got a 'yeah' in return.
They all went back inside, the man coaxing the two to unsheath their swords.
They took the blades out of the scabbards at the same time.
Tanjiro's turned black while Y/N's turned baby pink that faded into white at the tip.
'Uwah! It's so pretty! It's the same color as my ancestor's, too!'
Y/N was snapped out of her thoughts when the hyotto masked man pounced on Tanjiro.
"Ow! That's dangerous! Please calm down! How old are you, anyway?!" Tanjiro exclaimed.
"Thirty-seven!"
"Caw!"
"Caw!"
Tanjiro and Y/N's crows flew down to their respective Demon Slayers.
"Caw! Kamado Tanjiro! Hurry! Go northwest! In a village in the northwest, young girls are disappearing every night!" Tanjiro's bird yelled.
"L/N Y/N! Go south! Small children have been going missing every night! You shall be accompanied by the Insect Hashira!" Y/N's crow said quieter.
"Hah?! Why can't Y/N and I go together?!" Tanjiro complained.
He seemed to have angered his crow since the animal started pulling on his ear.
Nezuko grabbed Y/N's hand and looked up at her sadly.
"Aw! Don't worry, Nezuko! I'm sure we'll meet up again soon!"
After patting Nezuko's head, Y/N looked at her crow.
"Do we leave now?" She asked.
"Yes! As soon as possible!"
"Then we should put on our uniforms."
She stood up and walked to her room, her crow and Nezuko following closely behind.
Y/N took off her house clothes and put on her uniform - a F/C tinted button-up and a pleated skirt that reached just above her knees.
She put on her haori over it and slipped on her white tabi socks.
"Alright! I'm ready to go!" She said to herself.
Y/N walked out of her room where Tanjiro and Urokodaki were speaking.
"You're finished? Good. Now I can see the both of you off," Urokodaki said.
Tanjiro put Nezuko into a brown box before they walked outside.
Urokodaki fixed their collars before letting them leave.
"Bye-bye, Urokodaki-sensei! Stay safe!"
