Y/N's breathing slowed as she watched Shinobu continuously strike Douma with poison.
"You're very lucky, you know! If Y/N-sama didn't jump in front of you, your lungs would be dying!" Douma informed with a bright smile.
Shinobu's eyes widened.
'Y/N-chan...' Shinobu thought, three purple butterflies forming on her cheek.
Her movements sped up drastically.
"You really are fast! Maybe the fastest Hashira I've met so far!" Douma said.
With that, he slashed Shinobu on the chest.
"SHINOBU-SAN!" Y/N screamed, running over as Shinobu dropped to her knees.
She stared, shaking Shinobu, tears forming in her eyes
"Shinobu-san...!"
Shinobu reached into her pocket and pulled out a large needle with a liquid in it.
"When the fight... is over... inject this... into your arm... It'll turn you... back... into a... human... Now run... Let him... consume me..." Shinobu muttered as she coughed up blood.

"Run...! Go...! It's the... only way...!"

Tears rushed down Y/N's cheeks as she looked down at the dying Shinobu.
"Of course. I'll never forget you, Shinobu-san."
Shinobu grabbed Y/N's cheeks and pulled her into a kiss.
Y/N's eyes widened.
Shinobu pulled away with a smile.
"I love you..."
