annalise was frustrated. not only were things weird after kissing ashton, but her relationship with luke had almost deteriorated. she tried thinking of what she could've done to have things change so drastically, but her mind pulled a blank.
"you know, if i were you, i'd just stick to having friends, not boyfriends," celine said casually with a wave of her hand. she was munching on a strawberry (she was constantly eating) from the other side of the island.
"luke never was my boyfriend," annalise said curtly. she wished he was.
"but you liked him. and you told him so. whatever happened anyway?"
annalise shook her head. that was a mistake. everything went downhill after that.
"well?"
"ugh," annalise groaned. sometimes her younger sister was SO ANNOYING.
annalise took out her ipod. she'd been using it to text until her phone got updated. she went to her photos and showed celine a screenshot of one of her conversations with luke.
*flashback*
annie: dude you'll never believe what just happened to me!
luke: what??
annie: i just got tickets to ATL!!!!!!!!
annie: i'm like crying
luke: OMFG LUCKYY
annie: I KNOW! i can't breathe omg
luke: breathe, annie, breathe haha
annie: ahhhhhh
luke: hey, I really like you. like I think it may be in love. I hope you don't mind but I'm coming to america soon. I really really really like you. even if you aren't that pretty.
annalise: what?
luke: you heard me
annalise: ...
luke: ...?
annalise: I like you too
luke: hey sorry calum just stole my phone and deleted the conversation what did you just say?
annalise: I really like you too
annalise: luke?
luke: oh
annalise: oh? that's it?
luke: did I miss something?
luke: oh hey I have to go
luke: ttyl
annalise: um yeah bye
*end of flashback*
"wow," celine said. "he sounds like a dick."
annalise gasped at her younger sister. where did she learn cuss words? celine smiled sheepishly and mouthed "ashton". annalise rolled her eyes. of course it was him.
"so what are you going to do?"
"i don't know..."
she patted annalise's back and smirked. "i'm so glad my boyfriend isn't like yours."
wait what? since when does she have a boyfriend???!
