S2, Ep. 3 - Finders Keepers, Losers Weeping

Josie POV

I handed him the fake one and headed out the door and to our bikes, I had to say something to him, but what was there to say? "Hey what is going on.." I see Toby, "I told her everything, Tobes..", "Everything? As in the other world.." he nodded, "She took it well, didn't you Josie.." my body went on the bike and rode off as I couldn't nod to his reply.

I headed towards what I believed but I was actually headed towards the museum, I could hear voices, "I came with a gift..though this being Josephine is such a talker both internal and external.." That didn't sound like me at all, "And what must the gift be?" I could tell that it was Mr. Strickler, the history teacher. "The Trollhunters Amulet of course.." I could feel my hand pull it out of the jacket pocket. "Well done..only one problem for you and I..", "Hm?"

Who is he talking to, "Only the Trollhunters DNA can harness the powers..hence you're fused with the DNA of the twin..it will cause damage to the nerves.." I felt my hand being held as then my vision became clear as the sky. "Where am I?" I could finally speak. "You're at the museum..don't you recall the field trip.."

"I don't remember much..all I remember was you and me at the play night and then nothing else.." my mind began to fog up the memories leading up the current of moments. "All I ask of you..is something simple..", "How simple.." he handed me back what looked like an amulet, "read this..", "why.." he looked at me, "all hero's have a villain to their story of being one..and why not be the hero..since your brother, your own twin is the villain after all..he's been in the spotlight..he gets' Romeo and you get Juliet Understudy.."

He had continued to list things off. "But this amulet, without it, he is no hero, and with just reading a few words..could make you into something remarkable. So does that answer your questioning of why.." he gave the amulet and the words were sort of glowing. I said the words he wanted me to say and nothing happened then my vision went out and everything went black.

James POV

"Josie.." I said her name but no reply. "Come on Josie..speak to me..you haven't talked to me since the play.." I sighed as she was just staring at her food as mom walked in. "Something wrong Honey..", "Josie won't speak to me." I played with my food as I looked at her. "Well..I'm not sure how to help..maybe try and do twin telepathy.."

She giggled, "Claire already did that theory..", "Well there are different ways, one is by feeling, there's also touch and the last one is by hearing..well I have to get to work." She hugged me and Josie and left as I continued to stare at her, "Feeling..touch..hearing.." I mumbled. "Ok touch I know, but feeling..and hearing..it's' not like twin telepathy is mind reading..Hearing..hmm maybe.." I think I should finally tell her the truth and say I'm sorry for all the lies. "If you are listening to me Josie, I want to say I'm sorry, I've been distant..I know.." I hope she's listening. "You asked me why I come home late at night and the disappearances at the play practices..well the truth is.." Here goes nothing, no turning back now.

"The truth is..this.." I went close to her and pulled out the amulet, "this is an amulet..an amulet that made me a hunter for the bad..", "Does mom know.." She spoke. I wasn't sure telling the truth would have worked. "No..just you, Toby, and Claire.." Her head tilted, "Also sorry for making fun of you and Steve..you know i'm only trying to protect you,"

"I know..I would do the same.." I laughed, "I'll go grab my bag and then we can head to school.." I left and left the amulet on the table. I grabbed my bag and then headed down to go get the amulet back. "You ready.." She looked up, "Yeah.." She handed me the amulet back and headed out the door and to our bikes, "Hey what is going on.." I see Toby, "I told her everything, Tobes..", "Everything? As in the other world.." I nodded, "She took it well, didn't you Josie.." she rode off before I could get her to speak again. "We are getting there..she may just be stunned and trying to process it.."

Toby nodded, "So ready for school.." I nodded as we took off and met up with Claire halfway. "Wow..you actually beat Josie.." I raised a brow, "What..she was ahead of us for at least five minutes..how did she not come here.." Tobes said, "That is strange.." my phone rang as I picked it up, "Hello?"

"Hello..is this James Lake?" Now I was confused, "May I ask who's calling..", "I'm a nurse here at Arcadia Oaks Emergency Room..and according to this girl records your twin brother..is that correct.." What is Josie doing in an Emergency Room? "That is correct..can you tell me why my sister is in the ER.." Toby and Claire looked at me weird, "According to an anonymous source who found her, said she looked passed out and was near the Planetarium and the Museum..", "I'm on my way.." I hung up, "Is Josie okay?", "Okay is vague...I don't know, she seemed fine earlier and now I'm unsure.."

Claire looked at me, "Have any twin feelings at all.." I shook my head no, "That's weird..very weird..you should be able to have the connection.." Claire looked at me as my vision began to get blurry as I heard a voice. "All heroes have a villain to their story of being one..and why not be the hero..since your brother, your own twin is the villain after all..he's been in the spotlight..he gets' Romeo and you get Juliet Understudy.."

"Strickler?", "What about him..." I shake my head, "I know who found my sister unconscious..but why did he find her.." I mumbled, "what about Strickler Jim..", "I heard his voice, he said All heroes have a villain to their story of being one..and why not be the hero..since your brother, your own twin is the villain after all..he's been in the spotlight..he gets' Romeo and you get Juliet Understudy. I think he tried to do something to Josie and convince her that I'm a bad guy..but why would he do that.."
