VIII- streamer?

     I woke up around 2pm the next day feeling better than I expected. I was pretty drunk on Karl's stream last night so not being hungover this morning was a blessing. I swung my legs over the bed frame and a wave of cold air hit me. I ran across the freezing tile floor and grabbed the black sweatshirt off my dresser. Oh right, Sapnap's merch. I decided I didn't really care that much so I threw the sweatshirt on anyways.

     I walked into the kitchen to see Karl on the phone with someone. I flashed him a smile and tried to find something to eat. Karl gave me a huge grin and continued to talk on the phone. He sounded really excited, I tried to make out what he was talking about and it sounded like he was meeting up with someone. Good for him. I know Karl loves his friends so much. I was very curious though as to who he was speaking to.

     I sat at the kitchen counter and ate a bowl of cheerios mindlessly scrolling on twitter while I waited for Karl to get off the phone. I was thinking about how much fun I had on stream last night when I began to question the reality of becoming a streamer again. It would be so cool, all my nerves seemed to go away when I was playing games live for people to watch. Weird right. Thousands of people watching me play games on Karl and Foolish's stream and I wasn't nervous at all. However, looking at chat made me really nervous which was an issue because chat is kinda an essential part of streaming. I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't realize Karl was sitting right next to me staring at me.

"Oh hey."

"Hey Mel." Karl's smile was stretched across his entire face.

"Okay okay what's the good news?"

"I'm having a friend over in a couple days." He was practically bouncing up and down in his seat.

"Karl... explain." I was very interested.

"You cant tell anyone... even Foolish."

"Fine fine I promise."

"SAPNAP IS VISITING ME AGAIN!!" At this point Karl was jumping up and down in excitement.

     A wave of emotions smacked me right in the face. Sapnap. Was coming to stay with us. I was super excited to meet him in person. But that was the thing. In person. I just got comfortable talking to new people online I don't know if I was ready to meet them in person yet.

"Hey he's super nice you have nothing to be worried about" Karl tried to reassure me.

"Okay okay."

"He's not coming for a week or so, so you have time to prepare."

"Okay."

"Anyways, what do you want to do today?"

"Well, I was thinking we could talk about me streaming again?" I was super nervous. Last time Karl and I had this conversation it ended poorly.

"Oh yeah! Of course, we can go look at pcs and other equipment today if you want?"

"I would love that. But let's just look, I don't want to make any commitments yet." I was so excited. Maybe this could actually happen.

"Okay sure, let's leave in 10 minutes?"

"Sounds good."

I ran back to my room and got dressed in a pair of ripped jeans with docs and a sweater I stole from Karl's closet. I looked good.

"Okay i'm ready"

"You look good."

"Yeah I know." I strutted past Karl.
