Tigerlily's POV:
Everything was so... weird.
One minute the fires were there, and the next minute I'm standing in the middle of another palace. Instead of white it was yellow-ish, the lights were stars on top of pillars and on torches. Each doorway was arched and held an engraving. The floors were like sand, my feet sinking in and climbing out with grain following.
I started walking away from the room and through the hallways. In my mind I was trying to figure out where I was, but nothing rang a bell. It did seem familiar though...
A dark and menacing voice caught my attention and made me jump. I looked around wildly. Then I caught sight of a tall man in a (I'm guessing a dress but) cloak. He had very pale skin and golden eyes. Those eyes, they seemed so familiar.
"Oh Manny!? I've come to pay a visit." He spoke, walking around.
"Who are you?" I asked, but it came out in Russian. Despite that the man didn't hear me, and before I could move out of the way he broke into a slight run. A surge of pain entered my body as h-he passed through me! He passed through me! How did he do that!? I found myself breathing heavily when he left my body and ran again.
Confused and dazed, I followed after him in the intertwining stairs, corridors, and passages of the palace.
Finally, he entered a giant chamber that seemed to be the main room. Inside a giant control panel sat in the center, and a chair next to it. Inside the chair was a short man. He was bald, and carried a staff that looked similar to Jack's, but made out of different material. Though I couldn't see his face.
"Hello... Old friend..." The dark man said with open arms and a -warm? I guess -smile.
The bald man jumped, turning his chair around. One look and I gasped. He looked like my grandfather. I ran my hand through my hair as I tried figuring something out.
"Pitch? Pitch Black? What are you doing here?!" The man asked in a hurry, grabbing his staff and standing up. Now that I see it I see a HUGE difference in height between the two.
"I've come to tell you,"He opened his arms yet again and sang, "I'm baaack."
"Impossible. My Guardians conquered you the last time you battled. How are you back?" The balm man asked, a face of worry etched on. Pitch chuckled, as if being accused of something he didn't do. "Well you see, I've had help of a... friend."
"Friend? What sort of friend is this?" the bald man asked, looking completely dumbfounded. But Pitch waved him off, "Enough about this, I've fully come back thanks to your great-granddaughter." As soon as he finished he laughed. The man froze, "Tigerlily?"
My blood ran cold, my eyes widened at the man's answer. He knows me? Or better yet, I'm his great-granddaughter? And I helped bring Pitch Black back?!
"Oh yes, and once I get my great granddaughter Ember to come join me, we'll completely destroy the Guardians and your great-granddaughter too. Destroying your family, since she is the last descendent you have. And she isn't interested in -what do they call it now?-Oh yes. Dating," Pitch taunted. The room seemed to darken more as the torches seemed to extinguish one by one. But The Man stayed strong. Or at least tried to.
"Tigerlily won't be defeated, she's powerful." He announced.
"Powerful?! She's practically afraid of everything! And don't forget that curse I put on her. She doesn't stand a chance against me. Or the other girls." Pitch laughed.
"I will destroy her, to end your bloodline. Until then, Manny..." He disappeared into the shadows. The last thing I saw of him was his evil smile.
"Tigerlily." Manny muttered, then rushed over to the control panels. He typed into the keyboards, and a holographic image showed onto the floor next to me. The image was Kit and Ember, and... I was in her arms. Then it hit me.
