General p.o.v.

Tigerlily sat under her favorite tree. She was reading her book :'The Land Of Stories: The Enchantress Returns'.

As Tigerlily read, her fingers touched every detail of the picture on the next page.

It was a brilliant image of Alex and Conner Bailey sitting with Mother Goose in the living room.

"If only I could be with them," Tigerlily muttered and started to close the book.

"Now hold your feathers young lady!" a strange voice called.

Surprised, Tigerlily yelped and dropped the book. She looked around the tree and saw nothing except the leaves.

"Open this book. Its dark in here," the voice called. Tigerlily grabbed the book and opened it carefully.

The pages had no more words printed on them. There was only a picture of Mother Goose.

"Now, you know better than to shut people out. But this," Mother Goose points to the book itself, "is ridiculous."

Tigerlily's eyes widened.

I knew it. I'm going nuts.

That was the last thing she thought before she blacked out. Mother Goose looked annoyed before stepping out of her book. "This always happens." She shook her head and took a feather from her dress.

Mother Goose placed the feather under Tigerlily's nose and started to tickle her. Tigerlily laughed awake. "Stop it!" she yelled, trying to get away.

"Now I've read a lot about you," Mother Goose says, helping her up.

"What do you mean?"

"While you're reading this book, I'm reading about someone else. That 'someone else' is you." Mother Goose takes out a small purse and hands Tigerlily an envelope with a feather on it.

"Now what's your power? " Tigerlily looked at her, confused. Power?

"Oh....we'll find out later. But just to warn you, be careful with your power. Now if you read the letter I will expect you there."

With that Mother Goose vanished into thin air.

"What just happened?" Tigerlily muttered as she grabbed her book and opened it.

All the words were back; as if they had never disappeared.

The picture of Mother Goose showed her winking.
