I walked into the room and immediately realized which bed was mine. I sat down on it and marveled at the designs. When the bed moved it seemed like it was made of water. I set my bag down and glanced around to make sure no one was paying attention to me.

I opened my bag and pulled out the journal and the picture of Cassy and I. Opening to the first page I started to read.

Dear Us,

Today we went to the water park. It was sooo much fun. We met this boy who kept following us around and giving us random compliments. Other than being creepy, he was really nice. Once while we were standing by the pool he distracted us before pushing us in. I thought it was funny, but Caia seemed to get mad. When she hit the water the boy said that it made the hugest splash he had ever seen!

Well anyway since this is the first entry I'll explain. Caia and I will pass the book back and forth until I leave in three months. Caia can keep it and just email me the different entries. I'm really sad that I have to go, but hopefully we can stay connected!

Well anyways, I love you Caia-

Cassy

I put my elbows on my knees and my head in my hands. Don't cry. I chastised myself. Don't cry, don't cry, don-

"Hey are you okay?" I looked over to see a girl with short blonde hair and pale green eyes.

"I'm fine," I mumbled

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," I snapped rather irritably. I sighed, "Sorry, I'm just not in a good mood."

"It's okay. I'm Crystal," she said with a small smile.

"Caia."

"Woah, what's wrong with you?" Another girl was walking up to us from a bed shaped like a pheonix. A pheonix? Interesting.

"Nothing."

"Oh come on, it looks like you're about ready to cry."

"I'm fine," I insisted, snapping at her.

"Obviously you're not."

"She said she was okay, just leave her alone," Crystal said sweetly.

"Mind you're own business."

"Hey you're the one that came into our conversation," I said, my anger rising as I stood up

"Okay? So what's your point?" She took a step towards me and I realized she had bright red eyes that were dancing with amusement at the moment.

"My point is don't tell her to mind her own business." I had no idea where all of this self-confidence was coming from.

"I can say whatever I was to say to her." She slightly shoved me and I fell onto the bed, dropping the journal onto the floor. The other two girls in the room were watching us now and I felt heat rise to my face. I didn't like attention. I didn't like people pushing me. I just didn't like this situation at all.

"Oops, my bad," the girl with the red eyes said with a smirk. That's it.

My hands started shaking and everyone gasped. I looked down. My hands were glowing. I looked back up at the girl who had pushed me-she had backed up a couple of feet and was staring at my hands. Then she looked up and said,

"When did your eyes turn blue?" I didn't exactly understand why she would say my eyes were blue because all I could see was red as I stood up. Since Cassy died I have let my anger and grief build up and now it was starting to overflow. I took a step towards the girl and thrust out my hands for some reason, my whole body went rigid and a tingling sensation started in the pit of my stomach.
