Nightshade's POV:
Kit stood patiently in the corner and observed.
Not long after the girl, Destiny, had left the room the others followed in small groups. As the last group left Kit sneaked after them, making sure to stay unseen. Despite all she had seen she would like to observe a little more.
As Kit sneaked out of the door she found no signs of the group she had intended to follow. All around her were ivory white corridors. Kit stopped and looked in awe around her. The entire place seemed to glow. Trying to over light the crystals there were placed like torches.
Suddenly foot steps could be heard from one of the corridors and Kit froze in a movement. After listening Kit knew that the person or persons was coming in her direction. She didn't want to end up looking like a thief or intruder so she turned and ran down the opposite corridor.
Kit ran through the corridors randomly, turning corners and choosing new ways in seconds. After some time she had to stop so she could catch her breath. Kit had only stood for a minute before she heard foot steps again. She slightly cursed who ever there followed her.
How could they keep finding her!?
Kit looked around in desperation. She didn't want to run any more. It clearly didn't work, so why should she?
Not far away to her left side was a white wooden door. Kit quickly ran over to it and after a peak through the key hole she walked through the door. What she saw amazed her.
Every wall and most of the floor was covered with instruments. On the walls hung violins, guitars and trumpets. On the floor stood drums, harps and bigger string instruments.
Kit walked further into the room circling around herself to get a look on every instument in the room. There were many of the same instuments, but none of them was exactly the same.
Some instruments were classic brown wood, and others were made out of what looked like stone and yet more were made out of a materials Kit did not recognize.
Kit walked over to a wall covered with violins. She had always loved violin music and adored those who got to play the fine instument.
Her mom had played violin herself and taught her daughter to play a little. After Kit had just stood looking on at the many, many violins she couldn't help it.All these instruments and not even one little noise. Kit couldn't stand it. She walked over and took a violin in some white tree sort.
Kit could only play one song, but she could play it to perfection. So after finding a violin bow on the floor she played the first tone.
Tigerlily's POV:
"A giant castle that's for sure, I can't find a library," Tigerlily muttered as she walked around the long corridors.
Even though she's very jumpy, Tigerlily has sensative ears. She heard a violin play a song. Curious, she followed the sounds until she saw a door creaked open.
Inside the room was an array of instruments. Violins against the wall, guitars leaning against their proper stands. But near the piano, a girl with grey lumpy hair stood, her back facing Tigerlily.
As she played her violin Tigerlily's eyes widened. She knew this song, even more so, it was her mother's favorite. This brought back painful memories of her parents.
Tigerlily noticed a white piano near the window, not far off from the girl. What Tigerlily was about to do was going to bring back memories.
She snuck over to the piano and sat down. Setting down her duffel bag she placed her hands on the keys. Then she joined in on the song.
The girl jumped, hearing the new instrument being played. Her eyes widened when she saw Tigerlily, her eyes closed as she played the song.
When Tigerlily opened her eyes she saw the girl recoil, in shock. "Keep playing." She whispered, then continued the song. The girl nodded, bringing the violin to her neck. And played the tune.
With the piano and the violin working together, time seemed to slow down.
Lili/C's POV:
After following Destiny and watching her simply freak for a while, Lili heard music. She listened closely. She'd heard the tune before.
Walking quickly, she followed the sound to see Tigerlily and the girl by the bookshelf playing piano and violin, respectively.
She loved this song! Without thinking, she started singing. Both girls jumped, but started playing again without even turning.
After several minutes, the song was over. Lili smiled and clapped, and on turning, Tigerlily's jaw dropped at seeing who had been singing.
"You... can sing?" She stuttered. Lili gave her her normal close lip smile and nodded. Walking over to the violinist, she extended her hand.
"I'm Lili," she said quietly. The girl smiled and shook her hand.
"Kit," she told her. Tigerlilly walked over.
"I'm Tigerlily. Nice to meet you. I wonder how many of us are coming? This is... Seven of us. Eight if you count Jack, but he just tagged along."
Lili shrugged, and, hearing someone approach, she ducked into the shadows. The other two looked at her in confusion until they heard a voice.
"Well, I see you've found my music room! I'm glad that you are enjoying yourselves." They all turn to see who spoke, to see a man dressed in all white. A rather nice white shirt with a cream suit coat over it, and cream dress pants. He wore white dress shoes.
"I am the Protector, and this is my home."
