Valentina woke up the next morning in her new bedroom, still unable to completely process the events that had happened yesterday. The house that Abuela Alma offered to them was a tall, two-storey building that has five bedrooms with their own balconies, two restrooms, a dining and living area, kitchen and even a small backyard.

Last night, when the Esperanzas arrived at where their new home would be, both Ernesto and Alehandra were shocked at the house given to them, and more shocked when they saw that the house was already fully furnished. Alehandra literally almost fainted from the overwhelming feeling of gratefulness towards the Madrigals.

Valentina had already unpacked her things the moment she stepped in her new bedroom. So she didn't really have anything else to do in their house.

The girl quickly freshened up and wore her usual attire before heading straight down to the kitchen, where, as expected, her Tia was already there, making breakfast for the family.

"Buenos días, Tia." Valentina said, yawning lightly, as she sat herself down on one of the chairs along the dining table.

Alehandra smiled, greeting the girl back as she placed a plate of Arepa de Huevo in front of the girl. Valentina thanked her as she poured herself a cup of coffee.

"So, what are your plans today?" Alehandra spoke, cleaning her hand with a towel then sitting beside her niece.

Valentina shifted her gaze towards the woman, "I think I'll head out and explore Encanto for a bit, familiarize myself with the area." she said calmly before eating a spoonful of her meal, chewing quietly. Alehandra only nodded and smiled at the girl.

"You know your Birthday's coming up in a few days. Why don't you head to the market and buy yourself a little something?" The woman then placed a small pouch on the table, just beside Valentina's plate.

Valentina looked at her Tia in confusion before holding the pouch and taking a peek on what's inside. I was money.

Before Valentina could object, Alehandra placed her finger to the girl's mouth, silencing her.

"Please take it amor, you deserve it." Alehandra said softly, bringing her hand back down to her lap.

Valentina's gaze softened, "Thank you." she said in a whisper, in which Alehandra was still able to hear and nodded.

Not long after, Valentina had already finished eating her breakfast, quickly cleaning up the dishes. She wiped her hands as she approached the door to head out, the pouch that her Tia gave her hanging by a string on her left wrist.

Once she opened the door, she was immediately greeted by Mirabel, whose arm was raised, her hand in a fist. She was about to knock before Valentina opened the door.

"Ah Valentina, buenos días!" Mirabel said as she suddenly engulfed Valentina in a tight hug. The girl then noticed another person behind Mirabel.

"Hola." The shapeshifting Madrigal said with a small smirk on his face. Valentina nodded at him, patting Mirabel's back signaling for her to let go. In which, Mirabel complied.

Mirabel adjusted her glasses as she steadied herself, "Sorry, sorry! I was just so excited to see you!" she said before continuing, "We're here to give you a small tour around town." Mirabel finished, her face too bright with joy.

Valentina thought for a moment. She still wasn't familiar with the town, so it would probably be great for someone to show her around. Finally making her decision, Valentina nodded towards Mirabel.
