Dedun and Inumidun were both exchanging words while their classmates tried to calm them down but it became even worse. They were still arguing when their class teacher, Mrs. Adewale entered into the class and everyone kept quiet including Dedun and Inumidun.
"Why the noise?" She asked angrily
"Ma it is Dedun and Inumidun" Almost all the students shouted.
"Is that true?" She asked facing them.
"Ma it is this boy..."
"Excuse me, my name is not this boy. You weren't deaf when they all called me by my name" Inumidun said to Dedun.
"Whatever, Ma he is the one that is claiming my chair and desk and he dumped my bag on the floor. Courtesy demand for him to ask who owns it" Dedun said.
"Yes I was the one who put him there and you will be his partner" Mrs. Adewale said.
"Seriously! That can't be possible, Ma you need to....."
"Not anymore word from you Dedun, now get settled and prepare for today's class. (Facing the all the students) Is everyone all present?" Mrs. Adewale asked.
"Yes ma" The students chorused. She marked their names and left the class.
Few minutes later.....
"Leave I want to pass" Inumidun said in a commanding tone to Dedun. "Why are you now barking? E wa gbami o, mo ti si partner ni(come and help me o, I've missed it having a partner), Partner ti te mi aja ni o!(my own partner is a dog o!)" Dedun said facing her classmate and everyone bursted into laughter.
"I said you should leave that I want to pass or are you deaf?" Inumidun repeated his statement but this time he was angry.
"See Mr. Man you better be careful, shey you cannot talk like normal human being? Until you shout before someone will hear" she said hissing at him.
"See Mr. Man you better blah blah blah. When I know I'm dealing with a deaf partner, there is absolutely no way that I won't have to shout" Inumidun said mimicking her.
As Dedun was about to reply him, one of their classmates said "That's enough both of you and stop behaving like babies". "Tell him o" Dedun said.
"It is both of you we are talking to not only him" Bunmi snapped.
"Whatever" Dedun mumbled.
