The Newcomer

Chapter 18

  As Dedun got inside the house, what she saw shocked her. She cried loudly which made her classmates and also Dele who was discussing with her friends to rush inside. When they saw what happened, they were taken aback while Dele rushed to Dedun side who was crying and holding her mother's dead body.
  Dedun's mother was murdered by an unknown person. So many thoughts came through her mind as she was crying.
  "Who could have done this? Who  could have entered inside the house that was locked? Or can it be the people I saw in black with R.I.P bearing my mum's name?.

She quickly rushed out and went to ask the woman selling provisions near her house if she saw anybody in black come out of the compound but the woman said she didn't. Dedun went back inside her house and she held on to her mum's body which was soaked with blood especially from the side she was stabbed, making her own uniform soaked with blood.
 
   Dedun was crying so much and then she was looking at her mum who she resembled a lot. She took after her mother's height, she is of an average height, her fine nails with her lips that were pink and pink chocolate mixed together, she was curvy and had a very long hair. Dimple faced but not that beautiful, she is just simple just like her mother. The only thing she took after her dad is the brown sharp eyes and his very white set of arranged teeth. She was crying along side with Dele but she made sure she didn't cry out loud in order for other neighbours not to know about it. Her friends were sooo sad about the occurrence that happened and they were consoling her.

"Dedun, Dele was talking about you seeing two people in black or don't you think they must know about your mother's death? Ife asked. "Hmmmmm", she said amidst tears.
"I guess so and you guys are also part of their plans but don't worry when I'm in my right senses I will explain everything to you", she said crying.

"I know how it feels to lose a loved one but please Dedun, take everything easy and Dele stop crying so that Dedun won't", Tolu said.
"I can't stop crying, she is like a mother to me, someone who takes of me and also did especially when my Parents separated. It is not gonna be easy", Dele said but more or less yelling.

"Ife and Tolu, can you both do us a favour?", Dedun asked.
"Sure, anything for you", they both said.
"Please don't tell anyone about my mother's death. Just do it for us", Dedun pleaded.

"What if in school we were asked about your whereabout, what should we say?", Tolu asked.
"Just tell that I'm not around and I don't know when I will return", she said to them.
"Okay, and please don't do anything crazy or stupid, You hear? Ife instructed. "I won't and thank you sooo much. I really love you guys, you are always and will always be my best friend in the world", Dedun said.
"Awwwn, thank you so much", They both said before leaving her house.

   Immediately they left, Dedun cried and cried till she couldn't cry again. She began to use the toilet often. When Dele couldn't cry any longer, he slept off not caring whether he has eaten. Dedun was just thinking of who must have done this and in her mind, she promised to get the murderer or even the assassins and take revenge. (Just her thought though). She slept not long after but with a heavy heart because of her revenge mission.
