The Newcomer

Chapter 5

"Good morning dude", Gboyega greeted Inumidun.
"Good morning, so were you able to get the work?", he asked him. "Sure it was exactly the way you explained it that I did it", Gboyega replied. They were still discussing when Dedun entered into the class, she greeted everyone in the class and she went to drop her bag on her chair.
"Oh sorry! I'll soon leave", Gboyega said. "Why would you leave, Is she complaining?", Inumidun asked irritatingly. Dedun rolled her eyes looking at him with a disgusted look and she muttered "Trouble maker".
"Ehm Gboyega don't bother, I have other important things to do", Dedun said and hissed before leaving to meet her friends.

With her Friends...
     "Dedun why do you like fighting or let me say arguing with this boy and I presume you are the one always causing it", Ifeoma Godswill, Dedun's best friend said to her.
"Ife, (Dedun likes calling her that, she feels she is calling her in a Yoruba way) what makes you think so?", Dedun asked. "It is because this guy we are talking about is nice, gentle and he talks when needs be and above all (she cleared her throat) he is handsome and intelligent", Ife answered.
"Ife you need to be his partner and you will know what I'm going through. This devil you are calling nice. I really laugh in tongues", Dedun said in a jesting manner. "Whatever but you need to stop all this", Ife tried advising. "Wo ore mi (see my friend), it is not over until it is over by me", Dedun said and immediately the bell for assembly was rung, And they all ran to the hall or they would get punished.

   During class...

"Guy see close your legs, you are making me uncomfortable", Dedun complained but Inumidun decided to ignore her. "You will be saying that I'm deaf, what about you? I'm talking to you and you are behaving as if you didn't hear me", Dedun said.
"You are so exasperating, For God's sake what's your headache?", Inumidun asked frustrated. "My headache is that I want you to close your legs, they are disturbing me", Dedun said to him.
"Both of you are disturbing me and if you are not careful I will send you out of my class", Mr. Tolu said to them.
While he was still talking, Dedun got up from her seat and went to get refuge on another person's seat.
"What for?, why did you leave your seat? You better go back now!" He ordered. "Sir I left there in order to avoid any troubles, so sir let me be", Dedun replied him. Immediately she said that all the students began to talk and the teacher just stood there looking at her not even knowing what to say.
