The Newcomer

Chapter 9

"Inumidun, I need to see you in my office", Mr. Tife said with urgency in his tone. They both left the class and got to his office and when Inumidun saw Gregory, he looked at him with the expression "Trouble?", and Gregory gave the expression "big time trouble".
Inumidun on his part only find solace in Gregory and sometimes Gboyega. He felt him and Gregory both have things in common. In intelligence, Inumidun is there also Greg but you know knowledge passes knowledge. In physical appearance also, they are almost alike. Inumidun who is tall, fairly light in complexion which matches his brown dark eye balls with his handsome and dimple face. On the other hand, Gregory who is also tall but kinda huge, he is very fair in complexion also has dark brown eyes and he isn't someone we can call handsome but he is okay also he is dimple face. Their attitudes are the same thing and they mostly think mischievous things at all times.
"What made you guys to do it, I don't need any lies?", Mr. Tife asked referring to Inumidun. "We just felt like doing it, nothing more", he replied. "By taking some of the library books and even taking one of your classmates book (he checked the owner's name and said it out loud) Dedun's book?" Mr. Tife asked him surprised by his response. "Sir if it is about the school book, we are sorry but for Dedun, we just wanna teach her a lesson." He said without any iota of emotion. "This boy you get mind o (referring to Inumidun ) but this your friend here is just a wuss." Mr. Tife said.
"I'll take that as a compliment" Greg said with a smirk on his face. Inumidun rolled his eyes looking at Mr. Tife with disgust. "Eww, what I hate people doing", Mr. Tife said but jokingly. "You made us do so", they both chuckled. "I need you guys to return Dedun's book back and for stealing the library...", he was still talking when Inumidun interrupted "It is not stealing because we didn't break into it, it is called taking without permission".
"Whatever, but your penalty for it is a one week suspension and with pinky promise that you won't do it again", Mr. Tife said and stretched out his pinky finger out but to his surprise the two guys face lit up and they both came to hug him.
"We are happy about the suspension but not with the pinky pinky promise thing", Greg said laughing. "Boyyyyyysss (Mr. Tife called), you have to do so or else the teachers and principal will hear about it." Mr. Tife said to them in a serious tone.
"We don't care, infact if we are given a term suspension we won't bother", Inumidun said smiling.
"You have to care because I need you guys. You are both intelligent but don't waste it off on Naughty things or do you want to be like Evans who used his brain otherwise?" Mr. Tife asked them. "Nope, that man ehn but sir we can't help it", Greg said.
"I understand and that is because I was once like you but pinky promise first", Mr. Tife said. "Promise" they both shouted. "Don't also forget to give Dedun her book", Mr. Tife reminded them. "Yes sir", Greg said happily while Inumidun just gave a short salute before exiting the door with Greg.
"Hmmmmm, boys and their troubles", Mr. Tife thought out loud.
