At Inumidun's Place...

After his friend Gregory left his house, Inumidun was staying in his room doing nothing but when he got bored, he decided to go to the sitting room to watch the TV. (His father out of anger, took his TV out of his room because of his nonchalant behaviour).
He took his phone to charge. It was a Samsung foldable phone. He charged it while he watched the TV. His father bought it for him when he did well in his studies at his former school.
Not long after, his sister by the name Darasimi came downstairs and she joined him. She didn't go to work, she needed to take a break from work palava. She is called "Simi" for short. She is also tall but not to Inumidun's height, she is slim and curvy, also beautiful. She has a pink lip, dimple faced and a gap teeth. Her physique is just that perfect one, like she says, A model to be. She was eating meat pie made by one of the cook.
She joined Inumidun but he didn't recognize her presence. He ignored her like she was nothing. Still munching when she got thirsty. She called Inumidun but he refused to answer her.

"Are you not the one I'm calling?", she asked angrily.
"See Miss., if you are looking for anyone to send errands, then go get a man, get married and then you give birth to a child that you can send errands. As for me, I can't help you do anything. Also, why can't you send the maids around and why me?", Inumidun said to his sister.
"Oh my God! Like seriously, Inumidun it's me you are saying all this to?" She asked in a low tone.
"It is you of course and not your...." He was still talking when his Sister slapped him.
"You idiot, I swear you will regret this", he yelled at her and stomped out of the sitting room.
Meanwhile, when some of the workers heard them arguing, they called themselves and they did come out to see what was happening.
After Inumidun left for his room, his sister turned back to leave and she saw most of the workers and they all freezed on one spot. She shouted at them "Leave!", and they all did bowing down in fear.

That same day. When their father came back, Simi reported him and because of that his father collected his phone and locked him in his room. He got angry due to his father decision, and in annoyance, he left his room through his hideout and he drove out of the house and then he went straight to his friend's place to cool off his emotions.

On Saturday...

The day for Dedun's mum burial.

Dedun invited her two friends, Tolu and Ifeoma. It was really a very sad day for everyone who came around for the burial. She wore a white and black outfit with sunshades on, her dad also wore white clothe. Dele her cousin did wore white clothe with white stripes, like the Zebra color. His mum wore a black gown, accompanied with sunshades and a black turbanator. The people invited, more percentage of them wore white and black but the few of them wore any clothe that they felt like wearing.
They didn't want the burial to be an elaborate one due to the fact that they didn't want people to know about it, so they ensured the burial to be a low key. The venue was in Ajah, at Mayfair Garden, in Lagos state.
They did all the service of songs and all in their church and then it was time to go to the cemetery where she will be buried.

At the Grave side...
The Pastor first of, encouraged the deceased family and he used the scripture to encourage them.
He said "In 1 Thessalonians 4 vs. 13--14 (CEV) : *My friends, we want you to underatand how it will be for those followers who have already died. Then you won't grieve over them and be like people who don't have any hope. We believe Jesus died and was raised to life. We also believe that when God brings Jesus back again, he will bring with him all who had faith in Jesus before they died*. Then he said "That's why I do not want you people to cry. You don't cry over a soul that is won to Christ. Mrs. Daramola is now resting in the bosom of the Lord and also she has joined the cloud of witnesses. Anytime you feel down and the thought of her keeps coming, remember the scripture and always take a bold step to take it in and let the Holy Spirit comfort you. He is the Great comforter that no man can ever be, he is always there for you".
As the Pastor was still encouraging them, Dedun kept saying in her mind "I'm sure pastor don't know how it will be. I don't think he has ever experienced death before, if not, he won't be telling me not to cry..." Dedun was so lost in thought that she didn't realize the Pastor was done talking and he was calling her attention for her to say something about her mom.
Dedun went out, she cleared her throat that was cracked due to crying too much, then she began, "I never knew my mother would have to leave this earth so fast and I know that God knows the best. I had the expectation that she will give birth again, a younger sister or brother that I too can also be proud of but none of this happened. I thought she would be at my graduation when leaving the High school but it never happened, but mum (She said looking down at the coffin), I promise you that I will and will always make you proud. Goodbye dear mum, I won't forget you in a hurry. Till we meet at Jesus's feet".
She went back to meet her dad where he was standing, she held him and then she began to cry. Her father held her tight, and then the Pastor said "She is about to be lowered to the ground". Then the people in charge began to lower her coffin down to the ground. Dedun, her dad, Dele, his mum, and few other people began to cry even the more.
"My mum has really gone?" Dedun thought as they finally lay her coffin down.
Then he Pastor said again, "As a Chriatian that died in the LORD, you are not supposed to pour sand on her coffin as family members, just wave and say your goodbye. We will start with her husband".
"Goodbye my darling wife and sweetheart. You will forever be in my heart. I'm going to miss you but I know with the Trinity help, I will overcome the pain", Mr. Daramola said.

"Mum, I didn't plan it this way but God knows best. Miss you", Dedun said crying and she waved.

"Big Aunt, you are everything to me. You were there when I needed help the most. I won't forget all your good deeds, till we meet to part no more", Dele said, he also crying.

"My big sister, I never knew your living on this planet earth will be very short but always remember that I will miss you and your love will always remain in my heart", Dele's mum said.

Other of her siblings with her two older ones also said their goodbyes, and so did her in-laws. After everybody was through, the people who lowered the coffin started pouring sand on it, while people were leaving for their various places. They cemented it with her name engraved on it, also a wreath was put on her grave.
It was indeed a day that Dedun can't forget at all. This life...
