"Don't look now, but we're being watched." Theo said to Andy. They had been doing drills for over an hour now and it had finally gotten dark and the lights came on. The next time Andy was moving around, she looked towards the bleachers.

"6 women." Andy said. "I don't think we're in danger. Besides, I think they're just watching us play soccer." Theo smirked.

"Should we show off then?" Theo said. Andy rolled her eyes but agreed. "We are the captains of the team." She added.

"Alright. Let's do some crosses then." Andy said, jogging to put some soccer balls on each side. Theo nodded and headed to the opposite side. They did crosses for about 15 minutes before calling it on the drill. Andy noticed two of the girls had walked away from the group and were farther down the bleachers. She tried not to stare at the two and focused back to Theo. "Two have walked away from the group. I hope they're ok." She said looking at Theo.

"You're always so concerned for people." Theo said. "It's what I love about you." She said smiling. Andy blushed a little and returned the smile. "Don't they look a little familiar though?" Andy looked slightly towards them but shrugged.

They practiced for a few more hours before calling it a night noticing the 6 women were gone. The packed up and headed home.

Thursday
Andy and Theo got to the locker room, threw on their practice clothes, and ran to the field with moments to spare. They could not be late to practice but since their teacher decided to hold class a little late, they ran the risk of being late. They warmed up, stretched then huddled in together when coach called.

"Ok ladies. We have a big game tomorrow." Coach started. "Let's have a good hard practice and then I've got something to tell you but the practice has to go well in order for you to know. So let's go! Captains! Lead your team!"

They practiced for two hours with passing drills, crossing drills, shots on goal, corners, footwork and penalties. When coach had seen enough, she called them back over. "Ok. This was a really good practice." She started. "So tomorrow let's play hard, play smart and bring home the win." The girls nodded in agreement. "Now. For what I was going to say earlier if we had a good practice. We have been selected as one of the schools the US Women's National Soccer Team will come visit to help out with the girls soccer team. As you all probably know, they play on Saturday at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland where the Cleveland Browns play. They will come here the whole next week and work with us. I want you to be on your best behavior. They will also be at our next game a week from Friday." Everyone was so excited. Andy and Theo looked at each other in shock. They didn't know what to think. "As I said before, great practice and let's have a great game tomorrow!" The coach nodded to her captains to lead the cheer.

"Alright! Let's go with the USA cheer today." Andy said, smiling at her teammates who all wore grins on their faces. "Oosa on three! Oosa Oosa Oosaaa!" The girls headed to the locker rooms to get changed. Andy and Theo decided to not change as they were going to go back out and play more soccer at the field they were at the other day.

It was about 6:30 when they got to the field but there were two women playing. "No one ever uses these fields on week days. What the hell?" Theo said, turning to Andy who had a confused look on her face.

"They're really fucking good." Andy said, watching the women on the field.

"Let's watch them for a bit." Theo suggested. Andy nodded in agreement. They walked over to the bleachers and sat down with their stuff.

"Just for a little bit and then we'll practice too." Andy said. The two girls began watching the two women.

"Tobin!" Alex yelled, signaling for the cross with her hand up. As the ball came through the air, Alex timed it perfectly and put the ball into the net with her head. She jogged back to Tobin with the ball. "Nice cross Toby." Alex said, catching her breath and giving Tobin a high five.

"Nice goal." Tobin said, smiling at the beautiful girl in front of her. "Some shots on goal and then we'll call it?" Tobin suggested. Alex nodded in agreement. They set up and Alex took the first shot. They took shot after shot before deciding to call it and packed up their things.

"Ready for the game tomorrow?" Alex asked.

"Yeah. A little nervous per usual but who isn't?" Tobin said. The two walked to the car and drove off towards the hotel.

When they got back, they took showers and got ready for bed. They were roommates for this trip and couldn't be happier. Neither knowing why they were so happy about it and if anyone asked why they were so happy about it, they are best friends and that's all the answer needed to be. Obviously Kelley and Sonnett had hunches as well as a few more players but no one ever said anything to them.

Tobin got into her bed with a UNC shirt on and her Portland Thorns shorts. "Lex?" Tobin said softly after a few minutes. Alex looked at her best friend. "What if I never find her?" Alex could see the normally strong, chilled girl, with tears in her eyes. She got out of her own bed and moved to Tobin's. She pulled the other girl into a hug. Alex brushed her hand through Tobin's hair, trying to soothe the normally mellow brunette.

"We'll find her Tobin. We will." Alex said. She continued brushing her hand through Tobin's hair and rubbed her back with her other hand. Eventually, the older girl fell asleep with a strong hold on Alex so she decided to just cuddle up with Tobin in her bed. They were best friends after all. Nothing more. Right?
