Andy waited patiently for Tobin. She saw the midfielder pacing back and forth, dropping her hands and saying something. She doesn't know what but whatever it is, Alex, Theo and Kelley look shocked. Andy put her head back in her hands as she continues to take in what Tobin has just told her. I'm Tobin Heath's daughter? Andy thought. Before she knows it, Tobin is walking back to her. "Hey." Tobin says, sitting down. "So I have a question for you."

"Ok." Andy says.

"You said you are being taken back to the group home right?" Tobin asked. Andy nods. "How about I foster you...?" Tobin asks. Andy's eyes went wide. She didn't know what to say or think. "If you don't want to you don't have to but since you are my daughter and you're being sent back to the group home, I could foster you." Tobin hesitated. "And if you wanted, we could get the reunification process started but you know that's up to you." Tobin whispered but Andy heard her clear as day. Andy practically burst into tears. No one besides Theo ever cared so much. Tobin barely knows her and she's already suggested getting the process started. Without thinking, Andy stood up and pulled Tobin up to hug her tightly.

"Yes. Without a doubt yes." As they were hugging, the two didn't hear the group of people running towards them. Alex, Theo, Kelley and a bunch of the other pros collide into the hug, assuming the best has just happened.

Andy went home and packed up her things, which wasn't much so it didn't take long and all she had to do was wait for her social worker. Her social worker arrived and Andy loaded the car and after some paper work, they were on the way to the group home. Tobin agreed to meet Andy there to go over some things before the home could allow Andy to go back with Tobin.

Andy and her social worker, Susan, arrived at the group home. Susan found the paper work and began filling it out, as Andy waited patiently for her to be done. Tobin entered the home a few moments later and sat next to Andy. Alex came in a few moments later. "Oh I hope it's ok that Alex came with." Tobin said. Andy nodded. Alex sat next to Tobin and the three waited for Susan to be done.

Several hours later, Tobin signed the papers for Andy. They thanked Susan, who said she'd be in touch with the Heath's, and loaded up the USWNT car with Andy's things. The three arrived at the hotel and unloaded everything. It wasn't a lot so they were able to fit everything in Tobin and Alex's room. Andy's things consisted of three duffel bags and two storage boxes.

Tobin and Alex left Andy to get settled and sleep in their room while they went to talk to Jill. They reached the conference room the three had agreed to meet in and waited for Jill. Several minutes later, she walked in. "Hello girls. How is everything?" Jill asked.

"Pretty good. Andy's getting settled in our room." Tobin said.

"That's good." Jill said. "Well I just want you to know that the team is behind you girls. We support you Tobin and your daughter." She said, continuing. "How's the process starting off?"

"Well. I signed the papers at the group home for foster care custody." Tobin started. "The reunification process has started and they'll give us a court date soon. They'll put me back as her legal guardian and she'll be official." Tobin explained.

The three continued to talk for 30 more minutes before going to their respective rooms to get ready for the days ahead of them.

Tobin and Alex got back to their room to find Andy sound asleep. Alex's phone went off signaling she was getting a text. "Oh my god. Toby." Alex said, a smile shining on her face. Tobin looked at the phone her best friend was showing her. The texts were between Alex, Kelley and Hope. They read:

Worms 🐛: soooo
Solo: Al we have something to tell u...
Baby Horse 🐴: are u guys finally together??
Worms 🐛: dammit Janice
Solo: yeah we are
Baby Horse 🐴: bout fucking time

Alex took her phone back from Tobin before she could read the rest that was talking about her and Tobin. "They finally got together!" Alex exclaimed happily, a smile brightly shining on her face.

"'Bout time the squirrel and Hope got together." Tobin said.

"Wait so it is real?" Tobin and Alex heard from behind them, not realizing Andy had been awake to hear the two. Tobin and Alex shared a look. "Oh come on you can't take it back now." Andy said chuckling.

"Yeah. Hope and the squirrel are finally together." Alex said, deciding to just tell Andy instead of trying to play it off.

"Hey baby girl." Tobin said, walking over to Andy, sitting next to her on the couch.

"Hey." Andy said.

"You know you don't have to sleep on the couch right?" Tobin asked. Andy nodded.

"I know. But I'm fine with it. You guys need the sleep more than me." Andy explained. Tobin smiled softly and rubbed her daughter's back.

"I am going to take a shower." Alex said, getting up, grabbing clothes and heading into the bathroom. Before Tobin or Andy could speak, Andy's phone went off. She looked down at the caller ID and answered quickly as she saw it was her best friend.

"Hey cutie." Andy said, mentally face palming herself as Tobin gave her a look. "What's up? Everything ok?" The line was silent. "Theo?" Nothing. "Theo are you ok?" She finally heard sniffling and Andy felt her stomach drop. "Theo what happened?" Alex reinterred the room in her same clothes, over hearing Andy's concerned voice and becoming concerned herself.

"Uh." Theo finally started. "It's...it's my p-parents." Theo said in between sobs. "They're in the hospital." Andy looked at Tobin. She pulled the phone away from her ear and put it on speaker.

"Theo what happened?" Andy asked.

"Um. They were driving back from a restaurant and someone hit them." Tobin put her hands over her face and Alex gasped, the two immediately reaching for each other's hand. Tobin grabbed her daughters hand too. "I'm at the hospital right now. Jenna and Logan are here too. They're ok." Theo said. "But Andy. The doctors don't think they're going to make it." Theo said. Tears were flowing down Andy's cheeks. Alex walked to get her phone and started texting.

"Theo. I'm going to try and get there ok?" Andy said, looking at her mom who nodded. "Ok I'll see you soon love ok?"

"Ok. See you soon." Theo said. The two hung up and Andy broke down in sobs. Tobin grabbed her daughter and hugged her tightly.

"Andy. We'll get to her." Tobin said. Alex then spoke up.

"Hey. I've texted the group chat. Kelley, Hope, Press and JJ are awake." Alex said. "They want to come with." Andy and Tobin nodded.

The three grabbed hoodies and got their shoes on. Without knowing it, Tobin grabbed her daughters high school team hoodie and put it on. Andy smiled slightly at the sight of her mom in her own hoodie. They were about the same size so it seemed to fit Tobin. Alex put on a UNC hoodie of Tobin's and Andy somehow grabbed a Cal hoodie of Alex's. Each girl was representing a team of the other and they all chuckled slightly at the sight, the room's dark feeling lifting slightly.

The three headed down to the lobby and found Hope, Kelley, Press, and JJ waiting for them. "Everyone else is asleep." Hope said. Tobin, Alex and Andy nod.

"You guys realize you have your own clothes right?" Kelley asked, trying to lighten the mood as the group walked outside to the USWNT vans. Tobin, Alex and Andy just nodded.

They separated and got into the vans and drove off to the hospital in hopes that the news was good when they got there. Andy had a horrible gut feeling though, that nothing was going to be ok and that everything was about to change for her best friend.
