The team had the day off and Alex opted to use it to rest which Tobin understood. However, as much as she wanted to rest with her girlfriend, Tobin had a mission to attend to. A mission called: Finding Alex the perfect engagement ring. Tobin heard a knock on her and Alex's door and she went to open it. Andy stood outside and smiled when her mom opened the door. She had an Alex Morgan jersey on with jean shorts, her untied Nike's, a PDX SnapBack and obviously her brace. "Ready?" Andy asked her mom.
"Yep. Let me just go say bye to your mama." Tobin said turning and heading to Alex. "Hey babe. We're going." Tobin said, leaning in to kiss her girlfriend.
"Ok baby. You two have fun. Love the jersey." Alex said, looking at Andy who had come into the room. She smiled at her mama and gave her a thumbs up.
"Sounds good mama." Andy said.
"Don't get into trouble." Alex said as the two walked out of the room.
Tobin and Andy chuckled. "Sounds good baby girl." Tobin said, waving bye.
The door closed and Tobin and Andy headed downstairs. They got into the team van and headed towards a shopping center. They got to the shopping center and started walking around. "Hey mom?" Andy asked as they walked around trying to find a jewelry store.
"Yeah kiddo?" Tobin asked.
"This is fun. I'm glad we're doing this." Andy said.
"Me too kiddo." Tobin said. Andy smiled and soon they found a jewelry store.
"Salut les filles. parles-tu français?" (Hi girls. Do you speak French?) A woman behind the counter asked. Tobin shook her head.
"Juste un peu. Parlez vous anglais?" (Just a little bit. Do you speak english?) Tobin asked. Andy looked at her mom in shock. Tobin looked at her daughter and shrugged. Listen to this mom. Andy thought.
"Je parle français." (I speak French) Andy said. This time Tobin turned and looked shocked at her daughter. Andy shrugged. "Ma mère veut proposer à sa petite amie." (My mom wants to propose to her girlfriend.) The woman nodded at Andy in understanding, so Andy continued. "Elle cherche une bague de fiançailles qui ressemble à un flocon de neige." (She is looking for an engagement ring that looks like a snowflake.) The woman smiled and nodded.
"Je pense que j'en ai un ici." (I think I have one here.) The woman said and walked over to a glass cabinet. She opened it up and pulled out a ring. She handed the box with the ring in it to Tobin so she could look at it. Tobin smiled immediately and nodded.
"Elle aime ça." (She likes it.) Andy said to the woman. The woman nodded and smiled.
"Quelle taille?" (What size?) The woman asked. Andy looked at her mom.
"What size mom?" Andy asked. Tobin looked at her daughter.
"6." Tobin said. Andy nodded and turned back to the woman.
"Six." (6) Andy said to the woman. She nodded and went back to the cabinet to get the right size.
"Um. Hello?" Tobin said to her daughter. "Since when do you speak French?! And fluently?!" Tobin whisper yelled.
"I took French in middle and high school." Andy explained. "I picked it up really fast in middle school so I just decided to continue it in high school." Tobin still looked dumbfounded at her daughter. Before she could say anything though, the woman came back with the ring. She opened the box that was a red velvet with gold trim and showed Tobin the ring. Tobin smiled brightly and turned to her daughter.
"Perfect." Tobin said to Andy. Andy smiled and turned to the woman.
"Parfaite." (Perfect) Andy said. The woman nodded and smiled.
"Pouvez-vous venir avec moi à ce comptoir?" (Can you come with me to this counter?) The woman asked. Tobin looked at Andy.
"She's asking to follow her to the counter to pay for it." Andy said. Tobin smiled and nodded. Tobin completed the transaction and soon Andy and Tobin were on their way out of the store. "Thanks for letting me come with you today mom." Andy said.
"Of course kiddo." Tobin said. "Thanks for helping me talk to that woman." Andy chuckled.
"It was fun." Andy said. "I haven't spoken French in a while. It was nice to." Tobin smiled and the two decided to walk around a bit more before going back to the hotel.

After a few hours, the two made their way back to the hotel. They agreed that Andy would hold onto the ring so the risk of Alex finding it would never happen if Tobin had it with her. The team and coaching staff were all on the same floor luckily and Tobin and Alex's room was right next to Theo and Andy's.
"I had a lot of fun today mom." Andy said and Tobin smiled.
"Me too kiddo." Tobin said. The two walked into their respective rooms.
Theo noticed Andy as soon as she walked in. "Can I see it?" Theo asked, excitedly. Andy chuckled at her girlfriend.
"Yeah yeah. Let me get inside first." Andy said, smiling. Theo smiled, her leg bouncing as she was eager to see what the two Heath's had found. Andy took a box out of the bag and then opened the box the box and ring were in. Andy carefully opened the velvet box and the ring came into view. It glistened against the light and Theo's jaw dropped.
"Holy shit. That's beautiful Andy." Theo said.
"Mom is really excited about it." Andy said. "Hell I'm really excited about it." She closed the box and put it in the bigger box and back into the bag. She put the bag in the secure pocket of her suitcase, not trusting herself to keep it in the safe in case she forgot it. "You know..." Andy started. "One day I hope to be doing the same with you." Andy confessed. Theo's eyes widened slightly.
"You want to marry me?" Theo asked quietly. Andy nodded.
"Yes. I do." Andy said. She blushed and looked down at the ground. Theo smiled. She stood up and put her hands on Andy's face.
"I want that too." Theo whispered. Andy smiled and leaned in to kiss Theo. The kiss got heated quickly and soon it was a full on make-out session. "Andy?" Theo whispered. Without having to say anything, Andy understood what Theo was asking.
"I want to too." Andy whispered. Theo smiled and leaned back in to kiss her beautiful girlfriend. Andy put her hands on Theo's waist and moved one to her abs. Theo chuckled but didn't break the kiss. Andy started backing the two up and Theo's legs hit the edge of the bed. Theo slowly lowered herself onto the bed, not breaking the kiss with Andy. Andy straddled Theo's legs and reached for Theo's shirt and began pulling it off.
