Chapter 33

Taylor's POV:

After a while more we finally just went out to the parking lot to the Burger King and sat in a corner. Julian left with Zack and went off but Steve and his sister, Virginia, came with us.

Technically she's not Steve's sister. From what Julian explained to me, they knew each other since they were kids and Steve used to babysit her all the time. Over the years she just became like his baby sister. It kind of makes since though. Virginia is similar to Julian at times but can be just as serious as Steve.

So of course, me and Annie thought she would be perfect for Oliver. And of course, Steve was not happy when he figured that out. After that we stayed right next to Virginia as we sat in a big booth. In the middle was me and Dani, Steve was to my right with Virginia next to me and then Annie was next to Dani with Oliver at the end.

Us being, well, us, kept joking around and pulling each other's legs. Then Oliver showed up with our food and passed it around. "Hey pass me the mayo," Annie asked as she held out her hand to me.

"Ew..." I grumbled as I grabbed the mayo and toss one to her.

"Mayo is not disgusting," Annie frowned at me and I just gave her look.

"I'm with Tay Tay on this one," Danielle said as she popped a fry in her mouth. I made a ha sound before popping a fry myself.

"It is not disgusting!" Annie gaped at the two of us. We gave her a pointed look before she pouted and turned away, eating her burger. Oliver shook his head before reaching over and grabbing some of the mayo.

"If you two don't like it why is it closer to you?" Oliver asked as he put mayo on his burger.

"Oh that's because Virginia likes mayo and she was the one who grabbed it." Right as I said that, Virginia had a fry sticking out of her mouth and she looked wide eye since she heard her name.

"Say what?" We just shook our heads at her and me and Dani tsk tsked at her. She just shrugged and went back to eating.

"So what you guys doing for Christmas?" Annie asked kind of hopeful and Oliver rolled his eyes as if he knew what was coming. Me and Dani looked at each other before shrugging.

"Christmas eve I usually end up going to the grandparents and this Christmas my mom is working so nothing really."

"We should do a Christmas party on Christmas at my place." Annie beamed and both me and Danielle were perfectly fine with that. We sent evil smirks to Oliver who just groaned, knowing he's going to have to deal with a bunch of teenagers.

"Welcome to my daily life with this one." Steve said, gesturing towards me. I gave him a mocked hurt look and he just smirked at me before I shrugged.

"So this is what we should do..." For the next couple of minutes, the three of us planned it out and occasionally we got a nod of approval from Oliver. It was decided it wasn't going to be a huge party despite the size of their house. Instead we were going to get the couples, Shaun, Drake, and of course me and Danielle. Oh and the few adults who can actually stand us kids.

No fancy stuff either. I'm sorry but I hate wearing heels or dresses. I only wore a dress for the ball and I only wore heels for the dance because I had to and then again at the ball. Instead we were going to do a nice casual thing. We figured we were going to do typical teenage games and such and we were basically just going to stay in the living room that we are going to clear out except for a few couches.
