It's now after school.

I'm watching the guys practice from my spot way up top, just thinking about what's going on with my life. I thought Drake would be my main issue for the rest of senior year. Oh and Grace. But nope I have to deal with my ex, the guy that fucked up my life.

Just in case you are wondering, no it's not the usual he broke my heart because he changed story. In a way he did changed and he did break my heart but that's not the reason why I say he ruined my life.

You know what, thinking about life is an evil thing to do. Shaking my head I looked down and smiled as I saw Shaun look up at me before he threw the ball at Charlie who caught it. I need to stop thinking about the past. Just deal with and go to the future.

Drake's POV:

Damn it! Stop, focus. Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath and let it out before looking up. "Hut hut hike!"

An hour later and practice was finally over with. Looking up, I saw Taylor sitting on the top of the bleachers, looking bored as she had crossed arms and was staring up at the sky. No, don't think about it just keep going.

Earlier I was skipping and my spot is up near the top of the bleachers by the VP box. At the time I was lying down in the box so that no one saw me and I heard voices coming closer. First I thought it was security or administration checking the bleachers, but actually, it was Taylor, Shaun, and another guy.

My first thought was to scare them or something but then I heard what they were talking about I stayed quiet and listened. When I heard it all, I was utterly shocked to the bone. I never expected Taylor to have stuff like that happen to her. Maybe I should be more nice to her?

That idea was crushed when I heard Taylor say "Please don't give me pity or anything, that's the last thing I want. I'm still crazy ass Taylor." I heard Shaun chuckle lightly before him and that other guy, Matty I think was his name, agreed.

After that I stayed quiet and waited till they were randomly talking before I crawled out of the box and went to the far side of the stadium, making sure they didn't see me. Then I put my earbuds in, blasted music, and headed down the steps.

Instead of trying to go back to class I headed to the parking lot and sat in my truck. That Kane guy better hope I never see him and if I do, I dare him to give me a reason to punch him in the damn face.

Wait why do I care?

I'm still asking myself that question as I walked out of the locker room, now changed into a shirt and jeans. While I swung my bag over my shoulder I looked up and saw Taylor looking up in the sky in deep thought. A frown was etched into her face as she pondered something.

I shook my head and just continued walking in front of the bleachers. "Hey, Tay! We gotta go! My dad needs to borrow the truck for an after football thing for his college kids!" I turned my head as Shaun ran past me and dropped his stuff while he bolted up the stairs.

"Wait does this mean I have to meet your dad?" Taylor called down as she got up and wait for Shaun. I noticed how she got a little pale. Time to be a jerk...it's so much fun.

"What's wrong? Afraid of 6'5"ex-football player?" I called up and Taylor gave a serious 'what the hell' look.

"Shaun! You said he was only 6 foot! I can't handle anyone more than a head taller than me!" Taylor yelled as she panicked. I could tell she was mostly kidding but I could also tell she was a bit nervous.
