I've never ran so fast in my life. You would think that one of the coaches would be the first ones over to someone who wasn't getting up but nope. Shaun was already there by the time me and Steve arrived. Yeah Steve ran as soon as we saw he was down just like me.
Shaun had by now at least taken off Drake's helmet and I saw a bit of blood on his temple. Oh no, he must have hit his head really hard. Now the coaches from both teams were surrounding us as I went on my knees next to Drake.
"Hey Drake? Drake!" I tried calling his name out and I gently shook him but nothing. I bent my head down so that my ear was next to his mouth. OH thank gawd! "He's still breathing." Sighs of relief surrounded me as someone went to go get the nurse. Oh hell with the nurse. Have you not met my coach here.
Instantly I moved a bit so that Steve could get a better look at Drake's head. Steve checked everything with his head. "He needs to wake up now or he might be in a coma. He hit his head pretty hard and passed out but with a blow like this to the temple, he needs to stay awake so that the blood is flowing and not staying in one plus." (Yes I might be wrong okay, I'm not a doctor but I try to make at least some sense okay. If I am completely wrong then tell meh in da comments.)
Everyone looked around at each other trying to figure out how to wake him up. Steve sat him up and started to shake him but then I stopped him and I couldn't help a slight evil grin. If this works I'm going to be the happiest person ever.
Slap! "Woah what the hell?!" Drake's eyes snapped open and everyone sighed in relief as I tried to contain laughs. Gawd that felt good. "Did we win?" Drake asked as he looked around.
Smiling me and Shaun nodded to him which he sighed in relief to before he started to hold his head up. Then I punched his arm lightly. "Come on we gotta get you to the hospital." Steve and Shaun helped him. It seems like one of the coaches had called 911 and an ambulance came screeching by the bus loop, so they just took him to the paramedics.
While Shaun hung back with me, Steve told them everything. "I can't believe you slapped him." Shaun whispered.
"I can't believe it worked." We smirked at each other and watch as they loaded Drake into the ambulance.
"Drake!" I turned and saw a blonde running over and she quickly passed me.
"Who are you?" I heard the paramedic ask. I ran over to her since she was trying to calm her breathing. I rubbed her back a bit before addressing the paramedic.
"She's his little sister." The man nodded and motioned for her to join him. However Annie hesitated and looked up at me. "Want me to go with?" She nodded and I looked at the paramedic who just motioned for me to hop in.
So I went in and while me and Annie are on one side of Drake, the paramedic was on the other. Drake was awake but he looked pretty much dazed and the paramedic said the same thing that Steve said. Drake has to stay awake till they get him to the hospital and treat him for a slightly major concussion.
"Hey bro remember when I beat you in Call of Duty?" I smirked while Annie smiled down at Drake and held his hand. He smiled a bit and looked at us.
"You cheated." She gaped at him.
"I did not."
"You did too." I rolled my eyes at him.
"I think you hit your head a bit too hard because this little angel wouldn't cheat." Drake gave a seriously look before both me and Annie giggled which made him smile despite how much pain he must be in. "Okay I might be stretching it but oh well."
