Shaun's POV: (Yeah I'm doing that, it's nice to get the guys' point of view.)

Monday was an interesting day. I found out a lot about Taylor, things I didn't even know could happen to her. I mean I'm sure a lot of teenagers have things like that happen to them but not to Taylor. Anyways after practiced we just had some fun till we got to my dad's work at the university. We took our stuff and I went to find my dad's car which was a black 1980s charger.

When Taylor saw it she let out a low whistle while I unlocked it and threw our stuff in. "What is with your family and classic cars?" I shrugged.

"What can I say, the Carney family is known for there great taste in cars." She smiled at me. "This way." I smiled as I led her to the field. We talked some more till we walked out onto the field. Looking around I saw that they were all practicing and then I spot Dad on the other side. "There's my dad."

Taylor's face was priceless. She had the ultimate oh my gawd look with her eyes wide and her mouth hung open. Yeah my dad was like a flipping giant and his polo shirt is not helping hide any of his muscles. You be amazed at what some football players look like. "I'm dead." Taylor muttered and I laughed.

"He won't hurt you. He's a big teddy bear honest!" Just at the moment dad started yelling at some players for talking too much and not tackling the dummies. Nice dad, you have bad timing. Taylor shot me a glare why I just gave her a smile. If she didn't have to use crutches I would just hug her but nope she was being a stubborn person and got her self hurt.

"Come on, you'll be fine promise." She sent me a look but just went with it. As we made our way around the field, Taylor muttered a few comments. Comparing high school football and college football training. Can't believe she knew so much. When I asked her about she shrugged and said how she got tired of being confused when she walked in on her dad watching football. Figures.

However we were at the touch down field when we had to stop. "Shaun..." Taylor warned me but I saw it coming before the guy yelled to watch out. Not wasting a second, I jumped caught the ball in my stomach and then tossed it before I fell and rolled.

"And that team, is my son!" Dad yelled so everyone heard him. I looked up and rubbed the back of my neck as I saw the guy who yelled caught the ball. Taylor gave me a smile as my dad jogged over to us and we met him half way.

"Hey dad. Here's the keys to the truck." I dropped the keys in his hand and in return he gave me his. I had both keys on my key chain but the truck only has one key which is mine so that's why we just switched key chains.

He nodded then looked down at Taylor who was standing as tall as she could considering she was confined to crutches. "And what happen to this little girl?" Oh Dad, wrong choice of words.

Taylor raised an eyebrow giving her classic 'try me' smile. "I just twisted my knee while playing football, landed the wrong way but I did score the touchdown." Dad's current smirk wavered for a second when she said that and he glanced at me. Yeah he knew about said football game. "Oh and my name's Taylor Reh pleasure to meet you."

Is she really? Yes she is. After Taylor said that she stuck her hand out for a handshake. Dad snorted slightly before grabbing her hand and shaking it lightly till I noticed her grip get tighter. Oh this outta be good. "Hagan Carney, but you can call me Mr. Carney." Taylor's head tilted slightly and I watched their hands get a tighter grip on one another. I'm amaze Dad hasn't crushed Taylor's hand since it's about three times bigger.
