"Y/n..." I heard a whisper in the middle of the night from the door of my room. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Huh? Who is it?" I asked softly and I heard them shuffling closer. "Kagaya?" I asked and I felt him sit on my bed. "Whats wrong?" There was silence for a few seconds before he spoke, "I'm in a lot of pain." He said and I sighed. "Can I stay in your bed tonight?" He asked and I smiled, "of course. Did you take your pain killers?" He nodded, getting in bed next to me. I frowned not liking him in this much pain all the time.

"You were doing so much better yesterday, you could even walk by yourself around the house. What happened?" I asked him concerned as his face was infront of mine. "I'm not sure..." he said quietly and I nodded. "Is there anything I can do for you?" I asked and he was quiet again.

"What is it Kagaya?" I asked him softly.
"I'm just... so lonely..." he said quietly and I sighed. Of course he is, he has no one but his children, even they are so independent at such a young age. "I'm here for you." I told him, pulling him close to me to hug him. "Thank you, y/n." He said, hugging me back. We stayed this way for a while, cuddling eventually until we both fell asleep.

I woke up to a peacefully sleeping Kagaya with his arm around my waist. I smiled, but knew I needed to get up for breakfast, I sat up and yawned, stretching my arms and then getting changed into a clean kimono and my haori.

I walked into the kitchen, no one was there apart from Nichika. "Y/n? You're up early. Where's father?" She smiled softly and I hummed, not realizing that it was early. "He came into my room last night, as he was not feeling good." I told her and she looked down. "We will have to bring his breakfast to your room then." Nichika smiled and I nodded. "Thats okay Nichika. Do you need help with anything?"

She shook her head and I sighed. "Where is everyone else?" I asked and she spoke again, "they are asleep, please do not disturb them y/n." She said softly and I nodded. "Alright, thanks for letting me know. I'll be in my room with Kagaya." I told her, walking into the kitchen to get a glass of water then back to my room.

I placed the glass next to my bed, went into Kagaya's room and grabbed his medication then walking back to my room again.

I noticed this time Kagaya was awake and sitting up in bed. "Goodmorning Kagaya." I smiled and he nodded, "morning, y/n." He said softly with his raspy morning voice.

"I brought some of your medication into my room okay?" I told him and he nodded. I took out a few pills, placing them in his hand and then the glass in his other.
After he had taken his pills he passed the glass back to me with a smile. "Thank you y/n." He said calmly and I smiled to myself.

"Nichika said your breakfast will be brought into here, is that okay?" I asked him and he nodded. "Thats fine, as I am in too much pain right now to go into the dining room."
I sighed, I can't stand seeing Kagaya in so much pain. "How can I help? Do you need me to put some cream on? How about you get more sleep as well?"

"No, its okay ill stay awake. You're here, you can talk with me. Keep me company y/n." I smiled, "sure."

I grabbed a container of cream and put some on my hands and rubbed them together, I then placed my hands on Kagaya's face, rubbing it all over. I then put more cream on my fingers and more gently rubbed it into his curse.
"It hurts y/n..." he groaned but I continued to rub it in. "It will hurt before it gets better with this cream." I told him and he sighed. "Now do you want it on your back and arms or not?" I asked him and he nodded, he took off his robe from his shoulders, it laid by his waist. I rubbed the cream into his curse on his arms softly, trying not to hurt him too much, then I sat behind him massaging it into his back. Once I did this he was a lot more relaxed than before.

"How long do you want me to do this for?" I asked him and he shook his head. "Just until the cream is rubbed in fully." I nodded and finished off rubbing the cream into his back.

I then sat beside him again. "Thank you, y/n..." he said quietly and I smiled. "No problem Kagaya!" I chirped back, he then hugged me, pulling me into his chest, having his arms wrapped around my waist.
"Ah, is something wrong Kagaya?" I asked him, he shook his head and I smiled, hugging him back. He was so warm, everytime I hugged him he was. He was so precious and he was definitely cuddly.

The door slid open and Nichika had Kagaya's plate of food on a tray. "Father, your breakfast. Y/n, you're breakfast will be here as soon as I get back to the kitchen." I smiled. "Its okay!" I replied happily.

I ate my breakfast, it was delicious. Whoever cooks it is such a great chef. They never fail to amaze me, truly.
"How is it?" I asked Kagaya and he smiled. "Its delicious." He replied and I smiled to myself. He began to finish his breakfast, and I stood up, carrying our trays back into the kitchen.

I walked in and placed them beside the sink, then returned to my bedroom.
"Do you need to get changed now?" I asked and he nodded. He was clearly in pain, I walked to his room to grab a kimono and robe, as well as his haori.

I returned to my room to see him standing next to my bed waiting for me. "I'm back, I've got you an under robe and kimono, as well as your haori." I said and he smiled. "Thank you y/n." He took the robe he had on now off and I quickly put on a new one, not wanting to see anything and respect his privacy. I then put his kimono and haori on him. He was struggling a lot today with putting them on, I can tell his curse is growing worse and I sighed.

"Are you ready to go now?" He asked and I nodded, he grabbed onto my hand causing me to blush, this time we made our way to the cemetery hand in hand, slowly walking and chatting happily together. Nichika and Kanata also joined us, following behind.
