Fourty Six

Waking up in the middle of the night was usual for me now, ever since becoming a demon my whole sleep schedule had changed, however whats not normal is my now demon husband also being awake with his arms wrapped tightly around my waist.

"Kagaya?" I asked softly, tiredness still in my voice as he hums, rubbing my skin softly.
"Are you ok? Oh god... what did I do... I'm so sorry, darling!" I cried, sitting up, staring at him. His skin was no longer purple, just scarred over some places on his body.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I looked away, covering my mouth feeling like i was going to throw up.

"Why are you crying?" He says softly. He reached out to my face. He's still blind, that much was obvious as his hand touched my nose and mouth before it did my cheek.
"I—I turned you into a demon... I—I—I turned you into a monster!" I yelled, sobbing and trying to push his hand away from me.

"Do you think of me as a monster, Y/N? Am I no longer your husband?" He says softly, but I could tell he felt hurt. I shook my head quickly, "No! NO! You're my husband! The love of my life, the man i want to spend forever with!" He smiled as I basically yelled at him, "Then I'm no monster, right?" He questioned me.

"A—are you... Are you hungry?" I whispered, and he shook his head. "No, well... I assume it's the same for me as it was for you, I guess I'm just horny." He blushes a little whilst speaking.

My face almost turns bright red, and I stare at him. "Really?" I ask, and Kagaya nods.

"But now is not the time for that... I need to sort out who will look after our kids. Since we are both demons now, we can not wake up during the day."
He stands up, which surprises me, I don't say anything, though. He's probably healed from the curse, right? At least I hope he is... He seems to be fine other than being blind.

"My love, is it night?" He says softly, his calm smile back on his face, which makes me happy. I hope I can spend all of the time in the world with him.
"Yes, it is. Why?"

"...is Tamayo still here?" He questions, sitting back down closer to me now. She is, she's staying for the week, remember?"

He nods, humming a little and intertwines his fingers with mine. "I guess I'll ask her to find someone to look after our children during the day... I hope you don't mind the sudden change." His purple eyes, i feel like i could get lost in them and never leave. They're so beautiful, but im getting too distracted by my husbands attractiveness.

"Of course, as we both cannot look after them now during the day..." I say, looking down, avoiding staring at him. He wouldn't be able to tell, but i feel the heat in me starting to stir again.

A light knocking on our bedroom door before it slide open didn't surprise me, Tamayo stood there smiling kindly. "Sorry to interrupt you two. However, I overheard your conversation as I was walking past. I will gladly find someone and assign them to be able to take care of your children during the day. Is there anything else you'd need from me right now? Is Kagaya doing fine?"

I nod and smile softly, "he's great, actually. As far as I can tell... I just hope it'll stay this way."

Tamayo nods and tilts her head, "I see his purple skin has dissappeared, that's a great sign. Maybe my theory was true." She says happily, and I nod, smiling softly, i speak calmly, "I really hope so..."

"I'll be off now then, I'll see you two later. And Y/N, please do not beat yourself up over Kagaya becoming a demon, I know you love him so much. And we all know he would've died in a few years if he didn't become one..." she says kindly, but her voice sounds unsure, as if she's stepping on eggshells.

"I just... I don't know if I made the right choice... Kagaya is the head of the corps and the family. I mean, his whole existence is to eradicate demons and kill Muzan, not to become that exact thing himself." My voice dripped with frustration as i spoke, my brows furrowed as i held tighter onto Kagaya's hand, something I couldn't have done if he was still human. In his weakend cursed state and me being a demon, it would've broken his hand. Now he's as strong as me.

"Nezuko became a demon by force. She is our ally, Y/N. I also became one by force. We all want to defeat Muzan and eradicate all demons from earth." She sighs, pausing to cross her arms.
"Look... All I'm saying is, at least, you don't have a thirst for blood or taste for human flesh. I'd say that's probably the best thing at this point. Maybe you'd eat a human and enjoy it, but as far as both Kagaya and I can tell, you're just a demon of lust and love, and now, so is Kagaya."

I nod, wrapping my arms around Kagaya as he happily lays his head against me and smiles. "I know... it could be a lot worse. I just hope that we don't hurt people now that we are like this, Tamayo."

"I promise to you Y/N I will find a cure for being a demon before you ever hurt anyone because you are one. You have my word, I won't break my promise and your trust."
