Why didn't she tell me sooner

We got in her couch and Lizzy's parents were somewhere so it was only Hailey and Rose were there , although they were always in there rooms calling there friends so it felt like the house was to ourselves.

Lizzy got me on the couch and she went to get me some ice for my ankle . She got me a little chair to put my foot on so that I would be comfy . She sat down on the couch and she turned on the tv , she let me pick the show so obviously I chose friends .

We were talking for ages and just asking where our dream place to go would be and who our previous crushes were and just stuff like that and we were having so much fun. But before we knew it , it was 2 hours since we had left the park

We were so comfy and warm on the couch and we were watching my favourite show friends , and we were cuddling and the fire was lighting since we asked Hailey to do it since she noticed the room was cold when she walked in so we asked her to light it

We were asking each other more questions and I thought *Oh AsK hEr If ShE sPrAnEd AnYtHiNg* . Yeah that was a stupid thought and of course I asked her and she then looked down , in like a sad kind of way and looked at the tv , I was wondering what she was thinking about and if it had anything to do with me then ...

' one time when I was 7 , I was playing on my bike all happy ... then this group of boys came by and they were pulling my hair and messing with me , hurting me then they pushed me of my bike and ran. I fell and my wrist hit of the curb and I sprained it, I was crying In front of my house since I fell there' she said that whilst trying to get distracted by the tv , but I could kind of see a tear drop going down her face slowly from the other side of her face.

' oh my god that horrible , how come you never told me and where was I' I said whilst giving her a hug and whilst her tear ' you were on holidays and I didn't want to worry you , the only person I ever told was Rose since my parents took Hailey somewhere' she said that in a quiet voice whilst giving me a hug back  

I felt so annoyed at them boys and I just wanted to punch them in the face , but I was also so sad for Lizzy that they were pulling her hair and messing with her and being just little bitches so I wrapped a blanket around her and gave her a really nice hug to make her feel better and I changed the subject so it would get her mind off of it . But although she got her mind of it I couldn't , I couldn't think why she didn't tell me sooner and I was a little upset but also kind of happy she didn't want to worry me , it was kind but I would like her to know she can tell me  anything and that she doesn't have to think that she doesn't want  to worry me

We got in our pjs and we turned on a few movies and got popcorn and Fanta , we made VERY clear that we weren't going to do an all-nighter since we are really behind on sleep and we are tired from walking 

We were back on the couch within 10 minutes from getting the pop corn , Fanta and getting our pjs on  . We turned on a movie  and we were half way through it then Lizzy's parents came home but they said they had a surprise, they called Hailey and Rose in the room so we all could hear it together 'should I go like is this just for your family' I said expecting to go up to Lizzy's room 'no you don't have to go plus your close enough to family for us to tell you' Lizzy's mam said  'ok thank you' I said sitting back down on the couch 'ok so we're have some big news ... I
