courtney's pov

10 HOURS LATER

As I laid back down next to Carter, all these different feelings started coming to me. I have never felt like that before it was a whole new feeling. I closed my eyes for a brief second taking it all in. I don't exactly remember how it got to this, but I don't regret it. It wasn't rushed it wasn't anything except for perfect. He was so scared and so was I but for different reasons. He didn't want to hurt me , and it was my first time. It was as if everything had fallen into place. Everything Carter has said just took me to such a place I've never reached truly. And now I know what that place is and it's love.

I rested my head upon Carter's chest as I could his heart beat as his chest rose and fell. "How was it? Does it hurt ?" He asked as he sat up making me sit up pulling the covers over my naked body. He interlocked our fingers looking back up at me. Kissing each finger.

"Yeah it does, honestly." I said as he stopped and looked back up at me. "I'm sorry I tried going slower-" he said but I started laughing which made him stop talking.

"It was amazing, thank you Carter for being my first." I said as I kissed his wrapping my arms around his neck. He smiled into the kiss.

"I missed you so damn much." He said as we went back to our original position but this take he was playing with my hair. I giggled and could feel myself blushing. No one made me feel like Carter had made me feel.

"Me too, I don't know how I survived." I giggled looking up at him and pecking his lips then laying back down. I started closing my eyes but I shot up as I heard the front door being opened. Carter jumped up as well, scared.

I could hear my mom putting down her purse along with her keys. Carter was already getting his pants on. Footsteps got louder as we both struggled to put on our clothes. A knock was heard from my door, and Carter ran to my closet as I put my hair up making it look like I just woke up. I spoke slowly making it seem like I just woke up.

"Come in." I said as I jumped on my bed getting in as Carter shut the closet door. My mother walked in slowly peeping her head in. "Hey honey sorry I woke you up." She said coming Ina an sitting on the side of my bed.

"It's fine." I pretended to yawn and moved on my side. My mom kissed my cheek then began walking out then closed the door. I was so relieved she didn't notice anything like the condom wrapper in my trash. I sat up but before I could tell Carter to come out, my mom walked back in and said "Come downstairs , and bring Carter while your at it." She said giving me that 'I'm in big trouble look'.
