courtney's pov

I had just parked the car in the driveway and was heading inside. I has just came back from Emily's. Taylor hasn't been here for 2 weeks, he's been looking for a house. He invited me to go but I had school and I couldn't just pack up and leave. I unlocked my house door and walked in to it being dark.

My parents were at dinner, apparently the both decided they needed to go on a date once in a while. I'll admit it's pretty cute.

I placed my purse on the counter and placed my phone their too while I ran upstairs. I grabbed my jogger and a sweater then long socks. By the time I got downstairs with my hair up and make up off it was already raining. I sighed , because I wanted to go outside and relax but not today. It was almost nine.

Nothing on the tv was going to entertain me. So I turned it off and played my music as loud as I wanted it. I began making myself an ice cream sunday. The Icecrram was too hard so I had to let it sit out. My phone began ringing and it was taylor. I grabbed the phone and put it to my ear.

"Hello stranger." I said into the phone grabbing the ice cream scoop.

"Right back at ya'." He said chuckling. "Guess what?"

"What?" I said scooping one scoop into my bowl.

"Guess."

"You bought me those shoes I wanted?"

"No."

"You bought me that shirt I wanted."

"I didn't buy you anything greedy , guess come on."

"Fine, shawn came back ?!"

"No.. Guess again."

"I don't T ! Tell me."

"No you have to guess."

"Tell me or I'm hanging up."

"Fine." He paused for a second while I began cutting banana and strawberries. "I FOUND A HOUSE." He screamed into my ear.

"That's amazing T!!" I said smiling.

We began talking about it and he described every little thing to me. Then he tried convincing me go and move out with him. I honestly don't know. I'm barley finishing up school. I'll have one year after this year.

We got off the phone the same time I finished my Sunday. I put my bowl in the sink and started upstairs. I grabbed my purse and entered my room. I plugged my phone in and layed down. I curled up in my covers. I turned over to see what time it was. It was a little after ten.

The rain on my window was camling to me. I began looking out my window, the only thing that came to my mind was peacefulness. Nothing could ruin this moment.

I heard a tap on the window but ignored it seeing it could've been the rain. I rested my eyes about to go to sleep when I heard it again. This time I was a little freaked out. I got up and looked out the window. I saw a black figure out and he just stood there. Then I saw him heading towards the door. My blood began rushing as I grabbed my dads bat and walked downstairs.

A knock came from the door as I touched the last step. I slowly walked toward the door and looked through the whole. His smile was weak but he was soaking wet. I was pissed and relieved at the same time.

I put down the bat and unlocked the door. He stood there with the rain behind him poring.

"Before you say kick me out-" I stopped him there. "Carter I'm not gonna kick you out now get in here." I said grabbing his shoulder and puing him in shutting the door behind him. I turned around to see him staring straight at me. I cleared my throat and looked away.

"Im so sorry Court, for everything." He paused. "When you shut me out that hurt like hell, what I did was messed up. I knew that from the gecko , but I was too stupid to see how much you actually meant to me. Nobody else made me feel the way you did. No others kisses were the same as yours, no one else's hugs or touch was the same. Your one of a kind and I should've seen that but now I do. Seeing you play while everyday I think about you hurts. I've been practicing what I would say to you for days. And I was right no amount of words would describe how I feel about you. But you k ow what I said, I said who cares as long as I try. I would try and try until you atleast forgave me. I love you, okay there I said. I love you. And I will always love you and I need you to understand that. God you have no idea how long I've wanted to say that. Okay so that's it that what I needed to tell you, so you can kick me out of slap me if you want, I deserve it."
