(Shinobu's Pov)
I woke up at the sound of my damned alarm clock groaning in annoyance. After that, I widened my eyes and shot up like a rocket. 'What day is it?' I quickly checked my phone which was the whole reason I woke up in the first place. 'February 14th'
"Damn it," I whined in annoyance.
(Kanae's Pov)
I heard a long 'damn it' come from upstairs. 'Looks like Shinobu's awake' I ran upstairs at the speed of light and slammed Shinobu's door open.
"Happy Valentine's Day Shinobu~"
(Shinobu's Pov)
Kanae suddenly barged into my room. 'Fuck! Why her of all people.'
"Happy Valentine's Day Shinobu~" She said in a teasing manner. "I wonder how many gifts you'll get this year." She continued while putting her hand on her chin.
"Why you of all people?" I said in an annoyed tone.
"Awww. You're so harsh on Valentine's Day. Lighten up a bit." She whined. I got out of bed, walked up to Kanae, and stood beside her as our faces were facing in opposite directions.
"You know how much I.hate Valentine's Day. I'll never cheer up." I said giving her a side glance as I walked away.
"I'm using the bathroom that's outside of my room today. So don't come in." I continued as I walked into the bathroom. Kanae just smiled and walked away.
Once I finished taking a bath, I went to my room, got into my uniform, did my hair, and went downstairs. When I entered the kitchen, I felt two smaller figures hug me from behind.
"Shinobu!" They both exclaimed with glee. I was confused at first because Kanao was the only one in this house that was shorter than me.
"Good morning Kanao. Nezuko what are you doing here." I said as I turned around and crouched down while I patted their heads.
"I wanted to see you and Onii-chan said I could come over. Can I walk with you guys?" She answered.
"Of course, you can," I said with a smile as I patted her head. I looked at Kanao and patter her head as well.
"Kanao did you eat already?" I asked as she nodded with a hum. I didn't feel like eating breakfast. Meh, I'll just skip it.
"C'mon let's go," I said as we walked outside to join Kanae and Mitsuri.
"Shinobu~" 'Can I seriously have no peace on Valentine's Day?' I ignored Mitsuri's comment and stayed quiet.
"C'mon Shinobu~ Don't be like that. We're just trying to help you find a boyfriend." Mitsuri said in a teasing manner. "It's Valentine's Day cheer up" I stayed silent the whole time as she kept teasing me and Kanao was chatting with Nezuko.
"Shinobu did you eat this morning." I froze at Kanae's question. 'Well shit'
"Well... Uh... You see... I... Uhm..." I stammered.
"Answer the question." She said with a straight face. Come to think of it she's been staring at me the whole time. Was she contemplating about if I ate this morning or not?
"No, I didn't eat this morning," I said while looking down.
"Shinobu, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You shouldn't skip breakfast especially since you barely ate yesterday." She scolded.
