Two days before Christmas, Nayeon decided to buy ingredients for the cake she's going to bake. Nayeon and Jeongyeon walked home together. They just got home from the academy and we're resting inside their room. Nayeon was checking the weather and found out that it wouldn't snow from 23rd to 25th of December.

"What a bummer. I guess we're not getting a white Christmas this year." Nayeon said as she faced Jeongyeon, who was sitting on her swivel chair while staring at the older girl. She was supposed to review her paperworks from the student council, but when her eyes landed on the sight of a pouting Nayeon, she just can't take her eyes off her anymore and continued to stare until Nayeon looked back at her. "Oh, well! What else can we do?" Nayeon shrugged and beamed a smile to Jeongyeon.

The younger girl unknowingly smiled back, which surprised Nayeon. This was only the second time she saw Jeongyeon smile, at least subtly, and she thought that was the most beautiful smile she'd ever seen. Nayeon smiled even more before standing up from the edge of the bed and bid her goodbye.

"Where are you going, unnie?" Jeongyeon asked.

"Oh, I'm going to buy groceries for our little party this Christmas with Sana." Nayeon replied.

"Okay. Take care." Jeongyeon bid and Nayeon took the cue to close the door of their room and headed to the grocery store.

Inside the store, Nayeon was busy examining the prices of milk while Sana was nowhere to be found. They both went inside at the same time and Nayeon immediately grabbed one of the push cart and started to pick her ingredients.

Sana didn't know why they were here but she just said yes to Nayeon when she asked her since she thought they were supposed to hang out and gave fun because last time, Momo and Nayeon, together with Dahyun, went to the karaoke bar without her. Today, Sana agreed to accompany her since Momo was busy with her errands. Nayeon was so engrossed in picking ingredients for her cake and Sana got bored, so she went somewhere at the grocery store and came back with a party hat, funny sunglasses, and fake mustache, and tried to get Nayeon's attention.

"Eomma, eomma! Buy this!" Sana teased Nayeon as she posed with her props.

Nayeon just looked at her and ignored her antics as she put the milk carton on her cart. "No, Sana, I don't need it." She groaned.

"Ooh, you're colder than the weather. I was just joking, and you act alls serious!" Sana sulked and went near the older girl.

"I'm sorry, Sana-ya. I don't have time to be your comedy partner today." Nayeon responded, not batting an eye to the sulking girl.

Suddenly, an arm was wrapped on her neck from the back as Sana jumped behind her for a back hug. "I wanna hang out with you today, Nayeonie!" She beamed.

"I'm sorry if you're expecting us to have fun today, Sana-ya, but maybe next time. I'll make it up to you and Momo." Nayeon sighed but she let Sana hug her.

"What about this Christmas? Momo and I will be having a small celebration at the apartment. You should come!" Sana exclaimed.

"Oh, well that's why were here today. I'm going to buy groceries for our own little party with my family." Nayeon replied and Sana pouted playfully.

Sana took a peek on Nayeon's long list of ingredients she needed to buy for their party. "Wow, you're really getting into it, huh? You're making everything by hand?" She asked and broke the hug as she looked at Nayeon.

"It's my first time baking a cake on my own. I've taken baking classes on my previous school that's why I know the basics and I'm going to try to apply what I have learned from there. The rest are pretty standard dished, so it should work out... I think." She hesitantly answered and looked at Sana's reaction.
