"You should stay over at our house for tonight, Dahyun-ah. It's already getting late, it might be dangerous for you to go home." Nayeon insisted as they got off the train.

"It's fine, unnie. I wouldn't want to make my roommate and my landlady worry." Dahyun replied.

"I see." Nayeon sighed.

Jeongyeon remained silent as she stood beside Nayeon while looking at Dahyun. Dahyun glanced back at her and subtly smiled and looked back to Nayeon.

"Oh, I'll give you a Christmas present for all the trouble I've caused, Nayeon unnie. Lend me your ear, please." Dahyun said.

"What is it?" Nayeon asked confusedly.

Dahyun tiptoed to whisper something to Nayeon as the latter slightly crouched down. "Jeongyeon unnie may look all aloof, but... she really liked you, unnie."

Nayeon jolted as soon as she heard what Dahyun told her. Fortunately, when she glanced at Jeongyeon, it seems that she didn't hear what Dahyun had whispered since a train made its stop in front of them, making a loud noise as it screeched. Dahyun laughed at Nayeon's reaction.

"Well, you don't need to react like that, unnie! And now you're turning all red!" Dahyun teased. "What the heck, unnie! How embarrassing!" She added, making Nayeon blush more harder.

"Kim Dahyun!" She yelled, and Dahyun took the cue to run inside the train.

Dahyun rode the train with them since she wanted to accompany them and basically talk to Jeongyeon, which she already did when Nayeon fell asleep, and because they came from the same place. When they arrived at Nayeon's and Jeongyeon's stop, they decided to accompany Dahyun to wait for another train to ride home when she insisted not to stay with them for the night.

As soon as she stepped on the platform, she turned to her back, facing the two older girls and said, "Well, thanks for playing with me... my unnies," and smiled. "Enjoy the night together, you two. And oh, once you're used to each other, let's have a threesome!" She added and teasingly laughed as the door of the train closed. Nayeon was caught off guard at what Dahyun have said and blushed. She didn't have a chance to scold Dahyun for the terrible joke she made as the train started to move.

Meanwhile, Jeongyeon eyed Nayeon confusedly. "T-three—what?" She asked and frowned.

"Kim Dahyun!" She yelled and tried to run after the train, but Jeongyeon held her back and pulled her out of the train station and walked on their way home. She was still babbling about scolding Dahyun when they meet again.

Since when did she call Jeongyeon 'unnie'?

Meanwhile, inside the train, Dahyun sat on the vacant seat and put on her headphones as usual. She used to have no expression when she's alone while listening to her music, but this time, her face plastered a satisfied smile. She knows that she made a great decision of forgetting her feelings for Nayeon. It hurts, but she thought it would be worth it.

"Ah, fuck. This is the first time I've been so exhausted on Christmas Eve." She blurted out as they waited for the elevator to arrive at their floor. "Eomma is probably sleeping already. She said she have to go to work early for tomorrow." She said as she faced Jeongyeon. The latter nodded in response.

When the arrived home, they were met by darkness. Well, what do you expect when you went home at quarter past ten? And Nayeon was right, Mrs. Im was already asleep. But she saw a note above their table with a silly drawing of thumbs up at the bottom. It says, "I'm sorry I couldn't wait for you two, so I ate a slice of your cake, Nayeonie. Next year we'll celebrate with Jeongyeon, too! And by the way, the cake was delicious! Good night!"
