Lilith's POV
Tinitigan ko lang siya matapos niya sabihin 'yon. What's wrong with the people around me?
"Look, I have no idea what kind of magic or tactics you do to suddenly appear before my eyes inside that car, my room, and now, here in our living room pero magaling kang akyat bahay at akyat sasakyan," I said. Kunot noo niya akong tinignan kaya tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.
"Death is in front of you, hindi ka ba natatakot?"
"I don't fear death," sagot ko. "And if you mean you're a murderer by telling me death is in front of me, then just kill me if you can."
Nilagpasan ko siya para balikan ang iniinit ko ngunit bigla nanaman siyang nag salita.
"September 11, 2005."
I froze.
"October 11, 2005."
Those dates were the exact month, day, and year my parents died.
"December 24, 2005."
"March 15, 2006."
"April 29, 2007."
Napatingin ako sakanya at naabutan siyang nakangisi. I don't really recall the other dates she said. What really caught my attention was her mentioning my parent's date of death.
"I don't wanna mention every date because it's a long list but the latest was June 19, 2021."
Nanlaki naman ang mata ko. That was the day I almost died because of a motor crash. Gusto ko lang sana subukan 'yong motor ni Indie pero nawalan ng preno. The doctors were once again amazed that I survived that crash the same way they were amazed back when I was five.
