Shane started very awkwardly about the subject. Maddison held back a laugh as he tried his best to explain a toddler friendly way. "W Well. When two people love e each other a a lot." Shane thought for a minute. "The girl in the relationship gets her leg feeling lost for a couple hours and then that keeps on happening for a while." The last part made goosebumps appear on her skin.

"You still can't walk. That means I still know where you go. The things I'm going to do when you get your legs back." Maddison bit her lip as he whispered in her ear.

The kids were watching Peppa pig since Maddison's aunt had a Roku tv. "What do you think took Maddie's legs?" Emily asked Teddy and Olivia. They both shrugged. Shane carried Maddison to the living room and pulled her onto his lap. Shane kissed her on the lips softly.

Hours later Maddison didn't feel good. Her head hurt and she felt nauseous. She was going to take some aspirin when she fainted. Shane ran up to her and placed her in the their bed. Maddison opened her eyes. Shane froze. Her left eye was fucking red. She jumped on his neck. Shane was able to pin her frail frame down to the bed.

"I I'm so sorry Love. I'm going to fix this. I promise." Maddison was now growling and struggling against the thick rope that held her down. Tears streamed down Shane's face. "G guys. I need you to stay out of me and Maddie's room ok. You won't see her for a while because she is sick." The kids all nodded and ran to go play in the living room. He sprinted toward the kitchen and already made two bowls of the soup.

He force fed Maddison through tears. He was so relieved when he saw her beautiful hazel eyes coming back after the 5th bowl of soup. He fed her another bowl of soup before putting the kids to bed. Soon Maddison fell asleep. Shane headed for the couch since it wasn't safe for him to sleep in the same bed.

Shane woke up in the middle of the night to Maddison screaming and crying upstairs. He ran up the stairs and saw her hazel eyes glistening in the moonlight, while she screamed and cried. He immediately ran and undid the ties. She hugged him tightly and he held her in his arms.

Maddison asked again. "What happened Shane!" She was now hyperventilating. "You started turning into one of them." Maddison gasped and hugged him even tighter. The next morning she got up and ate breakfast with everyone else. Shane was even more clingy than he was before. Although she didn't mind it she was constantly being watched by Shane. She was playing with the kids on the beach in the ocean, while Shane watched her like a hawk.

She finally walked up to him and sat on his lap. He held her in by the waist. "What's wrong bubs?" She asked quietly. "I It's nothing. Just you and Teddy really scared me. What if it happens to Olivia, Or Emily, Or even me. Do you feel ok?" He rambled on and on until Maddison shut him up with a kiss. "Mmh. I missed you so much Love." Shane let out an exhale. "I missed you to. Now get your ass in the water!" Maddison giggled as Shane charged toward her and picked her up, holding her up in the water with the kids.

Later Maddison and Shane put the kids to sleep for a nap. Maddison started washing dishes, but Shane came up to her and hugged her from behind. "You should be resting. Not washing dishes. Go lay down and I'll do these." He said in a husky voice. Maddison bit her lip and nodded.

"What's wrong? Do you feel ok? do you need some medicine?!" He franticly asked again. "N no. I can't sleep alone though." She said embarrassed. "I I'm also not that tired." She stated as her shoulder sleeve fell down on her. Shane smirked and walked toward her sitting on the counter.
