I want you back

4 years later.
(At this point I'm not even sure how old y/n is so you can just decide for yourself)

*Lexa POV*
Today is a very hard day for Lexa, today marks four years since she last saw the girl that she loves. Lexa isn't convinced she dead, and she knows that the others aren't either. She can't explain it, but something in her heart tells her that her love is still alive. Lexa knows that Abby couldn't have killed y/n, and she knows y/n needed time. She just didn't think it would be this much. 

But of course there is always that voice that tells her that y/n is truly gone. But like always she dismisses that idea.

For everyone else it's just another day. But for Lexa, the delinquents, Anya, indra, hazel, Roan, and Thomas it a day to remember y/n, and hope that one day she will come home.

*Y/n POV*

Y/n woke with a bright light in her eyes. As she wakes she feels the heat of two bodys on either side of her. On one side lays ontari. And on the other lays a y/h hair colored little boy named Koda.

Y/n kissed him on the head as he started to stir. The three your old was not thrilled to be woken up.

But when he opens up his y/e colored eyes, identical to hers. She sees his eyes light up when he sees his mother.

Koda snuggles into his mothers side. And y/n chuckles at her son.

"Good morning little one" y/n whispers

"Good morning mommy" he says into her neck.

Y/n took in her sons features. The dark blood ran just under the surface. Not as clear to see as on her skin, but still stood out.

Ontari wakes with a groan, which makes koda giggle.

"Why the fuck are we up so early" ontari asks.

"No one woke you up stupid, the sun did"
y/n said to her freind

"Well can you tell the sun to shut the fuck up" ontari say into the pillow.

"Ontari, there's a child next to you" y/n said looking at her freind eyes narrowed.

"Sorry child. Don't take after me. After all I am the worst influence" she says dramatically.

Y/n rolls her eyes as Koda laughs.

Y/n gets up to make breakfast. She smiles when she sees Koda snuggles into ontari, and ontari wraps an arm around him.

Its times like this that remind y/n of Koda's mom. A quiet women, who also liked to sleep. They met at a village not far from here. They had a one night stand, that ended in a whole lot more. Tatum punched y/n in the face when she found out she was pregnant. Tatum was very stubborn woman, but the two eventually became family. It wasn't love. But they would still die for each other. Her light brown hair, and eyes attracted y/n to her. She was so beautiful, she only wished Koda looked more like her.

Tatum died giving birth to Koda. Y/n was a wreck, and without ontari here she most definitely would have died from it. But now she can only do what is best for Koda.

And while koda may look like y/n, his heart is all Tatum. That was one of the things she loved about her, she helped y/n find herself again.

Y/n walks outside and is met with the warming sun, she looks around at the green trees. She tries not to think about the green eyes she always seems to see when she's in the forest.

Y/n shakes her head. She can't think about that now. She has a different life now.

Y/n often finds herself think about them. Her family. She often think about going to visit them, but she doesn't know if she can face them. It's been fours years. She has a kid now, that she wouldn't give up for anything.

But deep down she knows she must go back at somepoint.

Ontari comes up behind her. Wrapping her arms around her waist and setting her head on y/n shoulder.

"Your thinking about them" ontari says thoughtfully.

"Yes" y/n says honestly.

"Do you want to go see them?" Ontari asks.

Y/n turns and hugs ontari.

"I don't know. I feel shitty for leaving. Why do I always do that? When ever I feel restricted I leave, because for whatever reason I think that easier than watching someone else leave. Even though I know they won't. "I say quietly.

"Its alright. They understand. Sometimes you need to get away. There's no time limit on healing y/n." Ontari says rubbing my back.

"You don't ever have to go back. Don't feel like you have to just for them. If you don't want to, then don't." She continues

Y/n nods.

"We have another sighting" ontari says pointing on the map.

Raiders have been a big problem in the south. Me and ontari have been taking care of them.
Except no one knows its us. We've created new identities for ourselves.

"Alright well thats very close to trikru ontari" I spoke.

"I know it's closer than you would like. But what are the odds that any of them are actually there." She says

Y/n sighs

"Ya what are the odds"
