After about thirty minutes of an awful, soul shattering silence, the door opened. Tsukki walked in and flopped on the couch. In the time he was gone I managed to clean up a bit knowing that he'd be back in due time.
He hadn't bothered to open his phone or read the text I saw earlier. He was different, this wasn't the sorrow I had seen before, this was totally different. "Tsukki," I hesitated, "I'm sorry,"
"It's not your fault," he sighed, "its mine,"
"If its anyones fault its that bitch!" I spoke angrily, "you should tell him off. This isn't right," I took a deep breath and ran my hand through my hair.
"I deserved it, I guess,"That broke me.
I deserve it
How could he even think that?
I silently walked over to where he was sitting and gave him a hug. It took a second, but he eventually hugged me back.
"I'm going to stand by you no matter what, Tsukki,"
I heard him hesitate, and soon my shoulder was being cried on."I love you," he mumbled shakily.
"I love you too,"That night was a quiet one, no phones, no people, just us. I liked it this way, and I hope he did too.
We were laying in bed, pitch black surrounding us, staring at the dark ceiling as the fan rhythmically flies by.
"This feels so surreal"
I nodded, it was dark so I don't know if he saw.
"Kuroo,"
"Mhm?" I softly mumbled.
"What if everyone finds out?"
"Then I'll be here to support you, you can't hide forever," I said sternly yet caring.
I felt him nod, "I guess thats true. When did you know you were ready?"
"I was never ready, you just have to do it,"
He quickly sat up and turned to look at me. I slowly sat up and planted a light kiss on his delicate lips.
"Never ready..."
I nodded and latched onto his waist, he leaned back into me. "When do we have an off day?"
"Should be tomorrow,"
"Can you drive me home for a few hours?"
I ran my fingers through his golden hair and thought about what he was implying. "Are you sure?"
"I figure my mom would rather hear it from me than Kageyama,"
I nodded. He really took never ready to heart.
"Sure," I hesitated.
He slowly detached himself from my grasp and meandered through the dark until he found the door. He came back a moment later with Yumeko and his phone. After flopping on the bed, he scooted over to me and showed me his texts.Kei:
I'm coming brief time tomorrow, please be there... we need to talk.He hit send.
We just had to wait.
Mom:
Alright Kei, see you tomorrow. He let out a sigh and threw his phone faced down next to him. He crawled onto his knees and over my lap.
He laid a deep kiss on my lips and I pulled him closer onto me. He clung to my shirt as we kissed passionately, trying to forget about the contents of the past few hours and the next day. He pulled away, leaving a trail of saliva dripping from each of our mouths and slipped my shirt off smoothly.
"You're so hot," he ran his hands up my chest.I couldn't lie, my pants were a bit "tighter", and I definitely liked this side of him. He grabbed my hand and placed it on his inner thigh and stared into me with needy eyes.
I didn't want him to need this because he was hurting.
"Tsukki, are you sure?"
"I need you," he whispered.
I felt uneasy about this. I really wanted to do this but at the same time I wondered if he just needed a distraction.
"Are you distracting yourself?"
He turned away. "I'm making the most of a relationship that will be put to the test tomorrow,"
