(5 months into the pregnancy)

Hope was so wrong, she was hoping that her and Josie would talk it out and it would be left in the past. That wasn't the case here.

She has noticed the brunette has been a little cold towards her lately. She still sleeps in the same bed with her and eats with her but, it's like there's an invisible line between them. She can feel it, especially when she talks to her, it's always short sentences if not one word responses.

Hope can feel a headache coming on as she thinks about the situation. She tosses around in her bed, she doesn't feel the warmth of her wife, so she sits up.

She doesn't see her in bed so she pulls the blankets away and stands up.

She grabs her robe and ties it around her before she walks out of the room.

She was about to walk downstairs until she saw the brunette sitting over by their mini library. She sighs before she walks over there silently.

Josie is reading while rubbing her small but now noticeable baby bump.

She picks up her smoothie that Hope hade made in advance, which was sitting in their freezer at a reasonable temperature.

Hope sits in the chair across from her, just staring at the brunette quietly for a while. Josie sighs and closes her book to look up at the auburnette."Did you want something Hope?" She asks.

"Yes actually. I want you to stop acting like this." She replies.

Josie sets the book down."Acting like what?"

Hope starts tapping her fingers on her thigh irritably. "Like you're angry at me still. It's been two weeks babe, what can I do to make it up to you?

She's tired of this and she's already got her hands full with trying to get rid of the Roman situation but the board is giving her a hard time for some unknown reason. She hasn't seen his face yet and she already wants to rearrange it.

Josie sighs,"I told you I'm not angry at you."

Hope scoffs,"You keep saying that but your actions are showing something different. How many times do I have to apologize?"

"I don't know. All I know is I don't appreciate that you lied to me when we agreed to be honest with each other. It's what married people are supposed to do."

"I know but at the moment it seemed like the best thing to do. I was just thinking about you and the baby."

"The best thing? Hope lying was the worst thing to do, I could have helped in someway if you would have let me in. I told you that if/when it got crazy I would take a step back so the baby and I wouldn't be at risk but you didn't even give me the chance to do that." She says in a strangely calm voice.

Hope groans at the brunettes reply. "I realize that now and it will never happen again."

Josie stands, using the arms of the chair to help her up. "I would hope so. Look I will forgive you, I'm just not ready to right now. Until then, just give me some space babe okay? I don't need the stress from this. You know it's bad for the baby. I'm going to go take a bath." She says before walking away.

Hope waits until the brunette walks into their room to huff in annoyance. She stands up and walks down the stairs into the kitchen to get a blood bag.

As she drinks from it she walks back upstairs to get her phone. When she walks into her room, she sees the bathroom door cracked open and she can hear the water running in the bathtub.
