Hope got into her car and released the deep breath she was holding. She pulled down the sun visor to open the mirror and look at herself.

She hates what she sees, she didn't want to leave her wife there like that which is why she's grateful Caroline is still there.

'I just need a little space.' She thinks as she closed the visor to start her car.

She drives for a while, already knowing where she should go to properly take care of her emotions.

She finally gets to her destination, closing her car door and locking it before she walks into the abandoned building.

She opens the door and makes her way toward the basement. It was locked with magic so she said a small spell that gave her access.

As she walked down the steps she heard a raspy voice speak up,"your back early Ethan, what happened, you didn't forget this time?"

Hope chuckles as she finally gets into the basement,"Not Ethan. You're in for a treat today."

The only light that's available is the moonlight that shines through the single window in the whole room. The dark haired girl is chained to the wall, wrists strung up, and bare knees digging into the stone ground. She lifts her head slightly to see the source of the laughter.

Her eyes drop and she immediately shuts her mouth.

Hope tilts her head at the action,"Look at me." She says as she gets closer.

Finch listens because she has no choice and lifts her head to look at the auburnette.

"That's better." Hope says and takes off her jacket to put it on the table that's two feet in front of the dark haired woman. She takes a seat in the chair and makes eye contact with the woman.

It seems like finch plans on keeping her mouth shut this whole time but Hope isn't going to let that happen, she wants the girl to piss her off, it will make things easier if she does.

"I need to take some me time right now because my wife is... violent at the moment." She says and threads her fingers through her hair, thinking about the brunette.

That got a small chuckle out of finch while Hope doesn't look amused."Josie doesn't have a violent bone in her body." The woman replies.

Hope grabs the girl by her chin roughly, making Finch's laughter die out quickly,"Clearly you don't know Josie." She then lets the woman go, pushing her away before she leans back into her chair."She's a pregnant vampire. I know she's unpredictable because of our baby but I would've never thought that she would... hurt me." She says, eyes meeting the floor.

Finch takes in the information slowly and chooses her words wisely."Listen," she starts and waits for Hope to look at her again."The person you just described doesn't sound like Josie."

Hope sighs before she brings her fingers to her mouth, using her fingertips to caress her lips as she listens to the dark haired girl.

"I know you think I don't know her but I do. We dated so there's a lot of things I know," she continues and a sly smile makes its way onto her face in thought.

Hope growls loudly,"Watch it." She warns having a good idea of what the woman is thinking about.

Finch clears her throat exiting her daydream before Hope murders her on the spot.

"My point is, Josie is a gentle person and she wouldn't hurt anyone unless she was provoked. Something tells me you didn't intentionally provoke her which means she didn't intentionally hurt you." Finch says shrugging.
