Sickie: San
Caregivers: Wooyoung
No one's POV.:
San and Wooyoung had had a pretty bad fight not too long ago, which was something the group hadn't thought possible before. They always got along and cared for each other too much to really hold a grudge even if there had been a small disagreement but this was a whole different level. The two weren't on speaking terms and did their best to avoid each other outside of their practice sessions, where they couldn't get away. Their fight also led to tensions within the group, which was why Hongjoong urged them to talk to each other and work things out but so far, that hasn't happened yet. Seonghwa kept checking on both of them but soon neither of the pair wanted to talk to the oldest either, interpreting his neutral stance as him taking the other's side. Yunho was also starting to grow frustrated with his roommate. At first, he had been understanding, always offering San a shoulder to cry on when the younger couldn't sleep, but he soon grew tired of the boy wallowing in self-pity and refusing to make piece with Wooyoung. He found it ridiculous how San continued to sulk, not even considering to talk things out with Wooyoung.
It was fair to say, both parties had been equally to blame for their fight but Wooyoung had been the one desperately trying to find an opportunity to talk to his amicus ad aras. The longer San refused to talk to him though, the more Wooyoung hurt and soon it was like a switch was flipped, the dancer not wanting to talk things out anymore. A week had passed since their fight, San barely talking to any of the members. He refused to talk to Wooyoung obviously but he didn't want to talk to Seonghwa, Hongjoong or Yeosang either. Seonghwa and Yeosang because he felt like they had both taken Wooyoung's side and Hongjoong because he kept urging him to lay their argument to rest. He couldn't refuse to Hongjoong though, considering he was the leader of their group but he surely tried to avoid him. Yunho and San barely talked either, despite sharing a room, as the older had made it clear he was annoyed at San refusing to even try to fix things. San mainly still talked to Mingi and Jongho, though their conversations stayed on the surface, discussing their latest practice session or what they were going to eat for dinner, which the younger two were grateful for as they didn't want to pick sides.
Wooyoung was different, trying to keep his fight with San to himself and act around the group like nothing was wrong. He had voiced his frustration about San pushing him away when he wanted to talk out their disagreement to Seonghwa and Hongjoong. The leader accepting that Wooyoung was putting in an effort to fix things while San wasn't. Yeosang had taken his friend's side after talking to the younger and hearing him admit to the mistakes he had made and watching him try and fail to talk to San. He also couldn't blame Wooyoung, when he returned to their shared room, ranting about how San had blown his chance after almost a week of him trying to talk things out. The dancer made it clear that he was done approaching the other and if San changed his mind and wanted to talk, he'd be there but he wouldn't run after him anymore.
San changing his mind didn't happen anytime soon though and just as he started to come around and accept he was to blame for their fight too, he had to fall ill. When San woke up to a pounding headache in the middle of the night, he first blamed it on crying himself to sleep that evening and it wasn't until the chills hit, that he considered it might be something else. Feeling to miserable to go back to sleep, he wrapped his blanket around his shoulders and shuffled to the bathroom. As he passed the room Wooyoung shared with Yeosang and Jongho, he could hear the trio was still awake, playing videogames together and couldn't help but feel jealous. Weakly plopping down on the closed toilet lid, San took his temperature, not all that surprised that he was sporting a rather high temperature. He grabbed himself some medicine to hopefully ease the headache and chills before shuffling to the kitchen to get a drink. Washing down the pills a few sips of water, San shuddered when the cold liquid hit his stomach and pulled the blanket tighter around himself. He made his way back to his room and curled up in his bed, one arm draped miserably over his burning forehead.
