Before we start the chapter thank you SOOOO MUCH for over 400 READS!!! Ok, here's the chapter...

"So what are we doing now?
"Ok, now I can explain it to you." I sit down on my creme colored coach next to Carl. "Me and Enid teach the others how to use weapons and survive if anything happened to this place. I believe that the parents shouldn't shield their kids from what the world really is like. People should be prepared. Plus they all volunteered."
"Do you teach the younger ones?"
"No. They would tell their parents. Plus they're too young anyways to understand. They would be too scared and chicken out."
"I guess."

Enid, Carl, and I sit and watch some television for another 45 minuets, until the doorbell rings.
"I'll get it." I lazily roll off the coach and open the door to reveal Charlie, Kara, Ron, Mikey, Joey, and Violet. They walk in by two's and settle themselves in the living room. When everyone is in, I close all the windows in the house so no one can hear in, and I shut the first floor's windows of the front of the house. Enid is already standing in front of the fireplace and television, opposite the coaches.
I walk over to her side, and quiet everyone down. "Ok guys so today we're going to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow. This is especially helpful if you're hunting, or if you don't have a gun. We're going to go into the woods, but don't worry because I cleared out a safe fenced in area for us to practice in. We're going to split up in two groups. You're all perfectly capable of making your own groups so just crowd around me or Enid."
Mikey, Carl, Charlie and Kara walk to my side, and Joey, Violet, and Ron, join Enid on the other side of the room.
"Ok cool so we have our groups now. My group, follow me to the woods. After me, Enid's group, follow her to the same area. This way travel is safer and less noticeable."
We walk just outside the fence and a little further out where there is a fenced in field, walker proof enough for the amount of time we will be spending there.
"Ok so now everyone line up in three rows and I will demonstrate." I grab one of the bows and arrow from the line closest to me. I click the arrow on the string and raise my bow. I align my eye with the sight window to the middle of the circle and take a deep breath in. I release the arrow and it hits bulls eye.
"Nice." Joey says seductively with a wink.
I roll my eyes at his sad attempt to flirt with me. Violet shoots Joey a death glare at the back of his head. "I used to take archery when I was ten," I regrettably reply. "Ok now you guys try. Remember ready, rise, and release."
I set down a quiver with five arrows each next to everyone's bow and let everyone shoot. Enid, Charlie, and to my surprise Violet are pretty good, but Ron, Mikey, Kara, and Joey struggle a lot. Surprisingly enough, Carl kinda sucks with a bow and arrow. Ron looks like he's struggling the most so I go over to help. I regret my decision immediately once he sees who I am and gives me the death glare. He continues with his attempting.
"Whoa, slow down there tiger. Your bow is upside down." Ron ignores me. "Look I'm sorry I yelled at you the other day, It was just a lot to take in." I try to be understanding.
He sighs while lowering his bow and turning it right side up. "I know, but I'm still mad."
"Is there any way you can forgive me?" I ask him sensitively.
He smiles just a little. "Maybe." This makes me pretty happy because I hate loosing friends. I can see that its difficult for him to stay mad at me. That makes me internally laugh.
"I'll be here." I say hinting him and walk back to my previous position.

The lesson goes on for another hour of just shooting arrows when I call time.
"Ok guys time is up!" Meet you guys next week at Joey's place." I collect the bows and arrows and Enid helps me carry them back to my place while the other disperse back to their houses. I say goodbye to Ron and Carl as they walk back to their respective houses.
Enid helps me open the door to my house since my hands are full. We put away the bows and arrows in a secret compartment behind the broom closet upstairs. I say goodbye to her and she leave out the front door. I open the shades for one last bit of sunlight and start walking upstairs to my room.
My ears pick up a subtle lip smacking noise coming from Charlie's bedroom...
I nock on the door, but the door was open slightly so it ends up pushing the door completely open to reveal my brother sitting on the end of his bed making out with Kara. My jaw drops and they both pull away from each other blushing intensely and starring at me like I have five arms. They both look terrified.
It was just yesterday that Charlie would hold my hand when he was crossing the street. Now he's kissing girls!?!?" Did not see this coming... But I can't scold him for doing something natural when he's about right age for this to occur.
I think quick on my feet to make this situation the least awkward as possible.
"Umm... Do you wanna stay for dinner, Kara?" If I got graded on this, I would have gotten an F-. What was I thinking!?!?
"Oh, uh... I should really go home now, but thanks anyway!" She almost runs out of the room, out of embarrassment.
I sit next to Charlie on his bed and sigh. I can see in his face that he's getting ready for me to give him the "talk."
"Look Charlie, I'm... I guess I'm ok with you kissing girls, but you know to treat them with respect right?"
"Of course." He looks terrified.
"You know, you don't have to be so scared right? I'm not gonna give you the "talk."
"Oh THANK GOD."
"Why thank god? What has he done for us where you have to thank him?"
I'm so anti-religion and anti-god that it's sad. Most people would say it's because of how the world is today, but I've alway been like this. Don't really know why though.
"I don't know, it's just something that I say. Sorry."
"You don't have to apologize. Just... mean what you say. I do that too, but I want you to learn from my mistakes. Do what I say, not what I do." Charlie nods his head in agreement.
"But anyway, just make sure that you don't have sex with her because I will kill you if you do anytime soon." He goes bright red and looks away out of total embarrassment.
"Uh, ok."
"Hey, it's a natural th-"
"Just stop. Just stop there. Not yet ok?"
"Awww are you scared to talk about it?" I talk in a mocking baby voice to tease him.
"No! I just... don't feel comfortable saying it..."
I mess his hair up. "Awww, ok cutie." I laugh and kiss his forehead. He looks so pissed off and I walk away in pride and victory.
As I'm about to leave his room I turn around to mention one more thing to him. "Love you Charlie," I say it as if I was singing a song.
"Love you too, Hazel." His voice made it obvious that he was pissed, but I know he'll get over it.
