"Oh hey Hazel." Carl says flirtatiously as he wraps his arm around my shoulder. We were walking down one of Alexandria's long and pristine roads. The streets, the houses, the greenery, and the native people of Alexandria were kept perfectly. It was as if Alexandria was it's own little world where there were no walkers and everything was like the way it used to be. The way it should be. Everything from the old days were ripped away from us when everything broke out.

We begin walking together side-by-side to our afternoon class that I was forced to go to (ugh).

"Didn't expect to see you today in school, then again I never go either." Carl mentions.

"Yeah that's true." I get pulled out of my thoughts. "Wait why are you going today?" I look over to him while I gently frown.

"Eh. Got bored. Plus I heard you were coming from Deanna so I thought I could keep you company." Carl responds while smiling and presses his warm lips on my forehead. I stupidly smile widely and feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"Aww your cute." I flirt.

"You're cuter." He stops in his tracks and pulls my face close to his and gently kisses my lips. He pulls back and smiles at me.

"You're beautiful. Did you know that?" He stares at me with those yet again beautiful, crystal blue eyes that could just make a girl melt. Of course I don't believe him.

"Haha very funny." I joke. He gives me a "I'm serious" face and I frown realizing that he was serious.

"Do you really think that I'm kidding?" Carl asks concerned.

"Uhh..." He frowns at my answer.

"You are the most beautiful girl I have ever set my eyes on." He kisses my forehead slowly and leans back to look at my eyes. I smile widely and blush like crazy while looking away.

"You're so embarrassed that you can't even look at me. Your adorable." He says with his husky voice. I look at him for a second and look back away and notice my cheeks feel like they are on fire.

We continue walking until we approach a small building with a flag hanging off the side of it that read "school."

"Well this is it." I point out the obvious.

"Well today is gonna be totally pointless." Carl says in a bored tone.

"Yeah I guess..."

We approach the stairs and before I can reach to open the door, Carl beats me to it.

"After you." He says while motioning to the opening.

"Wow such a gentleman," I tease surprised at how sweet he is being.

"I know. I try." He says in a cocky attitude. I roll my eyes at his large ego and walk in.

Carl follows behind me as we walk down the hall to our class, the second door to the right.

We enter the room and sure enough Mikey, Ron, Joey, Violet, and even Dove and Conner were there. But where is Kara, and Charlie? Oh and Enid? But she never comes so I'm not surprised. At least Charlie should be coming here often. Before everything happened he didn't even make it to high school so he should be coming here more often than me.
