Two weeks have passed and Conner began visiting Dove more often and Dove moved in with me which was pretty awesome. Now that shes out of the hospital and walking again, I've seen Dove and Conner hanging around together a lot.

Dove seems like a really sweet girl, untainted and pure, something you don't seen in this world anymore. It's as if the world isn't in shambles, its just a cracked piece of art, waiting to be fixed.

I think we all need a little bit of Dove in us.

"Look, Hazel, if you keep skipping school I'm going to have to punish you." Deanna tries to say to me like I'm her daughter. It gets really annoying sometimes.

We walk down the long streets of Alexandria side-by-side while talking. I kinda regret running into her today.

A thought about the secret school pops in my head. I haven't really been to that lately either, but thats ok because I asked Enid to take over. Shes better with people anyway, and much more skilled than me.

"Are you serious Deanna?!?! The world is practically over and your concerned about my education the most? Don't you think there are more important things than school?!?!" I complain.

She sighs. "Yes, but school is very important as well." "Hazel, we are trying to remake life as close to what it was before, so could you please start going again?" She pleads. "At least three days a week."

"No way! Thats way too much!" I speak loudly.

Deanna flashes me her 'don't challenge me' look. I hate that look. Its so irritating especially on her.

I roll my eyes. "Fine." I spit out.

"Great, you start again tomorrow."

"Ugh." I groan. "Yay." I sarcastically throw a fist in the air, trying to sound enthusiastic. Deanna raises an eyebrow at my sarcasm.

The rest of the day was pretty laid back. I hung out with Charlie for the rest of the day, we played bored games and talked a lot.

It was about eight or nine o'clock at night by now, and we've been talking and playing bored games for a few hours.

"So how are you and Kara?" I playfully raise an eyebrow at him as I rest my head against the back of the coach.

Charlie rolls his eyes. "We're... Ok... I don't know..."

"Is there something your not- wait if it's something sexual I don't wanna know." I admit.

"No, no nothing sexual." He assures with great clarity.

"Ok, good." I let out a relieved laugh.

"What about you and Carl?" Charlie asks shyly. I had a feeling he would ask that question.

"Oh..." I let out an awkward laugh and push my hair back. "It's..."

Now that I think about it, we really haven't done much as a couple, but its not like we can actually act like a real couple in this world. Its mainly been just hugging and hanging around together. Nothing more. Should we be doing more? Come to think of it, I have no idea how a regular couple is supposed to act or how a relationship is supposed to feel like. Should we have like made out by now or something? I don't know.
