Michael AFTON, son of William AFTON/Scraptrap, is reborn as a new human being and has no memory of his previous life. his new name is Makoto Naegi and he attends to his new high school called Hope's Peak high school, but he gets more than he bargain...
The students are finally faced to face with Scraptrap aka William Afton. Naegi can feel the air around Afton is heavy and he feels like he cant breath. Elizabeth looks at her father with anger and the other students look in fear.
Scraptrap: "who wouldve thought my own daughter would betray me. its quite stupid and pathetic to side with humans."
Elizabeth: "oh shut your mouth. you were never human when you started killing kids."
Scraptrap: "you dont know what its like to lose things that are precious. but that doesnt matter because im here for one thing to get rid of." he says which confuses the students. he narrows his eyes to the downed Naegi then in a split second he appears in front of Naegi trying rip off his face with his boney hand, but at the last minute Sakura managed to jump in front and grab Naegi's katana and slice Scraptrap's hand in two, sending the animatronic back.

her action surprised everyone including Naegi, Elizabeth and even Scraptrap who looks at his hand that is split. Scraptrap uses his remnant to fix his hand and looks at Sakura with glowing purple eyes.
Scraptrap: "so you use remnant as well? thats fascinating." he says which surprised Elizabeth and Naegi who thought they and Celestia were the only ones who can use remnant.
Sakura: "correct. my family first learned the power of remnant through our intense martial arts training. i unlocked mine not too long ago and mastered it."
Scraptrap: "well in that case let me make you an offer. why dont you become an animatronic?"
Sakura: "no thanks."
Scraptrap: "i can sense your remnant strength is very strong, your name?"
Sakura: "Sakura Ohgami, Super high school level grappler."
Scraptrap: "I am William Afton. Sakura, let me tell you your remnant power isnt in the highest. its because you are human. in death, remnant becomes more powerful after death and becomes more powerful with Agony...if you become an animatronic, your remnant will become more powerful after death and resurrection. become an animatronic Sakura, for the sake of Despair. i hate to kill someone who's strength impresses me. that boy Naegi is nothing worth protecting over as he is nothing but a lucky student who got caught up in a world on the brick of collapse." he says offering her his hand.
Sakura: "humans are the beauty of the world. growing old and dying natural is what makes the lives of human more lively then anything knowing they accomplished what they wanted in their life. you are no different than Junko Enoshima. Naegi is not weak, do not insult him. Makoto Naegi is the hope the world needs and he will become the changing tide against despair. so i will say it again, i will not become an animatronic." she finishes her speech. everyone is in awe including Elizabeth and Naegi. Sakura drops Naegi's katana and Scraptrap looks at her with disappointment that she rejected his offer for greater power.
