Michael AFTON, son of William AFTON/Scraptrap, is reborn as a new human being and has no memory of his previous life. his new name is Makoto Naegi and he attends to his new high school called Hope's Peak high school, but he gets more than he bargain...
Afton looks down on the military who attempt to destroy the school's defenses over and over again. he can see three faces that he remembers from his regained memories, some that were close to finding out Junko's plan years ago before the Tragedy. but then before he was go down and fight the military, he senses a strong presence heading its way to Hope's peak and sees a distorted light dashing through the forest near the school making its way to the front gate.
Scraptrap: "so she answered my call. i knew she couldnt resist........." he says to himself. he holds a watch and looks to see there is only 20 minutes before the air shuts down within the school. he sits at the edge of the roof and watches as the bolting light is making its way to the military. He smiles knowing that there will be a alot of carnage. as the soldiers continue to stay where they are and avoid being killed by the AA guns, one of them sees a light heading toward and when the light reaches, the soldier's throat is slit. other soldiers are unexpectedly killed by the unknown figure moving blinding speed, some were stabbed, throats slits, and etc. the figure jumps high up to the roof and behind William Afton.

???: "William Afton~ oh how i missed seeing your recognizable face~!"
Scraptrap: "Mikan Tsumiki, its been years. im glad you responded to my call, there are important matters that must taken care. as the first student to fall into despair by my student, i know i can count on you to do this task. your target is a boy named Makoto Naegi, he wields a power that can destroy me and the despair Junko has worked so hard for. dont you want Despair to continue to go on?"
Mikan: "yes YES its the most enjoyable emotion and brings so much joy!~ its the will of Junko Enoshima...~"
Scraptrap: "exactly. Despair must go on and continue to spread. Im sure you awakened your remnant so i want you to drain all of Naegi's remnant and kill him. Nagito has already escaped the building and has left somewhere unknown. as for the others let them be for now. now go and complete your task."
Mikan: "yes master~" she says and walks to the roof door and exits. Scraptrap looks down and notices Nagito in the forest, carrying a garbage bag with something inside it. he sees Nagito grab his knife and then.....proceeded to cut off his bruised forearm completely surprising Afton.
Scraptrap: "what on earth? why would he cut off his arm like that?.....i get that hes a Ultimate Despair but for what purpose did he cut off his forearm?....whatever i should make sure no more military personnel arrive at Hope's Peak..."
