We stumbled through his front door still connected at the lips. This was going against my better judgment but I didn’t care. I wanted Danny and I wanted him now. He slammed the door shut behind us and lifted me up as I wrapped my legs around his waist moving to his room. Clothes wen flying and he climbed over the top of me.
The next half hour was pure ecstasy and I never wanted it to end but we’d exhausted ourselves and just collapsed back onto the bed together. Breathing heavily and all sticky we both fell asleep almost immediately.
“Well good morning beautiful.” I whispered as Danny woke up.
I’d been awake for around thirty minutes now but I didn’t want to disturb Danny before. I was reveling in the quiet and trying to savor the happiness while it lasted. I had this horrible feeling that the moment he woke up he would realize he’d made a mistake and kick me out.
“Good morning to you too gorgeous.” He smiled and reached over, stroking my cheek with his thumb. “I was so worried you were going to leave this morning. I wanted to ask you something.”
I raised my eyebrow in confusion. What could he possibly want to ask me? What could I possibly give or do for him that was going to be worthwhile. He pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arm around my waist.
“I wanted to ask you if you would make me happier than I’ve been since you last lived here and be my girlfriend?”
I turned around in his arms and I smiled at him. “I’d love to be your girlfriend Danny.” I kissed him passionately and he kissed me back. “We sort of skipped past the first date thing I guess.” He laughed and I felt his chest rumble.
“Yeah, I guess we did. Come on, I promised your brother that I’d hang out with them today.”
I groaned and tried to bury myself under his sheets but he lifted them up and pulled me out of bed while he got dressed I just pulled on yesterday’s clothes still in a daze. I tried to ignore the judgmental stares from Danny’s neighbors as we left his apartment but that’s a little hard when you have the woman next door asking him to keep it down because her children didn’t need to hear it. I just blushed and buried my face in his shoulder.
“Sorry Mrs. Cassells.” He mumbled, walking me down the stairs and out of the building before anyone else could stop us. All we had to do to get to my place was walk across the street though so it wasn’t too bad. I’d left my keys with Stacey last night so I just had to ring the doorbell and wait for Dillon to answer.
“Hey Jorel! I found your sister!” He called through the house. “Morning Andi.”
“Morning Dillon. There any coffee left?” I asked, walking in with Danny close behind me.
“Yeah, there should be a little bit.”
I nodded and took Danny’s hand leading him into the kitchen and telling him to wait at the table while I got him some coffee. By the time I realized where I’d sat him it was too late. With Aaron and Amy opposite him things were about to get very awkward.
