Kurt teleported to the other side of the fence, where the girl had disappeared.

I was about to phase through, but then I saw a tree right next to the fence and an idea came to me.

I climbed up and smirked as I got a really good view. I could see Kurt and the girl without being seen by them.

Now I could examine the girl better.

She had short brown hair with white bangs, her clothes were in dark colors, a black skirt and a see through dark green shirt, inside she wore a black tank top and black boots. Her make-up was purple lipstick and eye shadow.

She also wore a black glove on her right hand its length stopped at her wrist.

But why only one glove?

Is it a styling thing?

"I used to be like you, you know, I didn't know who I was or what to do, I was afraid to show my face. Can you believe it?" said Kurt, waving his hair, and surprisingly his words had an effect on the girl.

She seemed so lost and scared, I could relate.

Kurt suddenly looked up at me and then she saw me.

She gasped

"You!" She said with wide eyes, fear had gripped her.

"It's okay," I said as I got down

"No, you are not going to take me!" She yelled

She tried to run, but Kurt grabbed her by the shoulders.

In an attempt to free herself, she hit Kurt's image inducer and his true form was revealed.

The girl screamed and pushed him away.

But when her right hand met his face, they both cried out in pain.

I shoved both of them away from each other. When the girl hit the ground, she disappeared, she teleported.

I turned to Kurt and my eyes widened.

I panicked at the sight. Kurt was lying unconscious on the ground.

"Oh shit, oh shit, Kurt, can you hear me?" I asked, rushing to him.

I placed my hand on his neck, searching for his pulse, thank God he had one.

"What the hell am I supposed to do now?" I asked myself, out loud.

"Wait, Jean said that she can hear my thoughts," I talked to myself again.

"Jean? Jean? Can you hear me? Please Jean! Redhead!" I screamed in my head.

"Kathryn, slow down, get your thoughts in order," she said in my head.

"It's Kurt, she did something to him,he passed out! What if he's in a coma? What if this is my fault, I should have done something, I could have stopped it," I said, looking at Kurt's now vulnerable body.

"Hey, relax, everything is going to be okay, help is on the way, didn't expect you to care about Kurt,"she said, and cut the connection between our minds.

I don't care about him, maybe a bit, or a bit more than a bit.

I can't believe it. I have been mean to him all day long,

Why am I such a fucking mess?

-Time skip -

Half an hour had passed and no sign of the others. She said help was on the way, and if so, where were they?
