Things had been looking up all week for Namjoon. They couldn't possibly be any better with Leila and the group had been invited onto two last-minute interviews. Most of the questions were about his personal life but he answered them as respectfully and vaguely as he could and then went back to promoting their single. The music shows that had pulled them off their rosters had invited them back and they'd even started recording for their album again.
He didn't know how or why this was happening but he was grateful beyond words. If it wasn't for their fans and the progressive thinking the world had developed he may have suffered the same fate a lot of his sunbaenims had. They weren't out of the woods yet, but they were well on their way to where they used to be.
They were almost done with the practice for the day when Namjoon got a call from his mother to ask if they could come down for dinner the next day. They hadn't seen Mia since Hyun-Joo kept her for the night and were starting to miss her. They also knew Namjoon wouldn't be available for a while and were afraid they'd miss Mia growing. She invited everyone but with them all having different scheduling, he didn't know if they'd all make it.
Namjoon sat down on the floor beside Leila and Jin after practice. "My parents want everyone to come over for dinner tomorrow night."
"They're letting you two fornicators back in the house?" Jin asked teasingly. He placed Mia on his shoulders and bounced her until she giggled.
"What did he say?" Leila asked Namjoon when she saw him flip Jin the bird. She made a mental note to order some books to learn Korean because she couldn't stand it when they did that.
"Nothing." Namjoon lied. "Anyway, it'll have to be a quick dinner. We have Music Bank beforehand."
"If you're all too busy, I can just take Mia myself." She offered since she knew that the past couple of days had been pretty hectic.
"No, I want to go see them before I get really busy again."
"We're taking different cars then?"
"No just come with us to the show and we'll head out right after."
Leila still wasn't comfortable with taking Mia to all these places with cameras and so many people but it was what she signed up for. She didn't want to make things harder on Namjoon, so she agreed.
"I can't come." Jin cut in. "My father is coming over for dinner tomorrow night."
Namjoon informed the rest of the members but most already had different plans or had to work. The only two that could make it were Hoseok and much to Namjoons dismay, Jungkook. He loved the kid but when Jungkook and Hyun-Joo got together it made him want to throw up. He didn't know if they actually had a thing for each other or just acted the way they did to get under his skin.

Being backstage at these things was never going to get any easier for Leila. There was too much happening, too many people running around, and way too many people talking in a language she didn't understand. She sat on a couch with Mia waiting for it all to be over. She hoped one day she'd walk into one of these shows and feel as relaxed as the boys seemed.
Leila took in her surroundings, especially the makeup artist trying to flirt with Namjoon. Leila didn't need to know Korean to understand what her breast practically in his face meant. This time though, he smiled politely but didn't say much and kept his eyes glued to his phone. When she was done he shot out of there like a bat out of hell and came to sit with Leila.
"How do I look?" He asked pulling on the bottom of his shirt to smooth out any wrinkles.
Leila smiled sweetly at him and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Like your makeup artist is about to get her ass beat."
