Monday.
"What? Where is it?" Henry looked confused.
"Where is what?" I respond.
"Did he not give you one? William, did he not give you your uniform?" Henry asks.
"There's uniform? I didn't even know." I look at him.
Henry groans. "He's forgetting everything recently, what is going on with him!" Henry starts walking down the hall into Williams office.
I sit down on a chair patiently waiting for Henry to return.
Henry's POV
I'm not knocking like I usually do. I pull down Williams handle and open the door.
William is sprawled out in his seat and slightly snoring with his mouth ajar.
"William!" I quickly shout, closing the door behind me.
William wakes up startled, frantically moving his eyes around the room until he spots me.
"What are you doing? William do you ever even sleep anymore?" I noticed the very dark bags under his eyes. "You need to sleep William, it's taking a toll on you and you may not see that but I can. Can you tell me where you put Willows uniform? She's here but she doesn't have it."
William groaned and pointed at the gray metal cabinet and the corner of the room. I stepped to it and pulled it open, revealing Willows purple shirt with a name tag.
"Take the day off or something William, you need that more than anyone in this city." I suggest, pulling the shirt out of the cabinet.
"No Henry I'm fine." William refused, drinking water from a bottle.
"Well if you're not gonna go home you might as well get out there and show Willow the ropes." I stated.
William smiled. "Gladly." he got up out of his chair.
I watch as William walks past me with his hands in his front pockets, walking down the hall. I turn my head over to his desk.
Tons of papers, water bottles, cigarette packs, and green colored pens scattered all over it.
I shook my head slightly and exit the room, closing the door behind me. I make my way down the hall after William disappeared into the room Willow was in.
I walk into the room and see William and Willow chatting and smiling near the window.
"Hello Willow, so sorry for the inconvenience. Here's your uniform! I hope William will show you how everything works." I nodded.
William grinned.
"Thanks Henry!" Willow smiled at me and then looked at William.
"Let's go Willow." William motioned his head to the kitchen and began walking. Willow followed.
Willow's POV
I followed William into the kitchen.
It was just as black and white checkered as the rest of the place, and it's not as big as I imagined.
"So," William sucked his teeth. "You're just starting so you won't be doing much. Some days we might ask you to actually do some of the cooking, but the cooking isn't much it's just basic things like pizza, alfredo pasta, mac and cheese, you know just shit you see at Chilis and stuff."
I nodded in agreement.
"Uhh.." William clasped his hands together and turned on his heel. "Oh." He stepped forward to a little string hanging above the counter. "Here you just put the orders you take down, you know, chefs see it, and do cooking magic and stuff. There's the cooler with beer for adults and juice for the kids or something, fridge/freezer has the fruits, vegetables, whatever."
