Anonymous POV

"Here. Take this." Man 1 handed Man 2 a sack of cash.

"What? Why?" Man 2 asked.

"Bail money." Man 1 responded.

"Whom for?" Man 2 questioned.

"William's father. He has been in jail for 8 years. He's serving life, but they're willing to set him free with bail money." Man 1 answered.

"Really? What's he in for?" Man 2 stood straight.

"The murder of his wife. AKA, William's mother. He also falsely accused William for the murder and caused William to serve 3 years in juvie. I guess we can see where the brit gets his murderous agenda from." Man 1 cracked a smile.

Man 2 looked at Man 1 skeptically. "How do you know all this? About William's whole story?"

"I have my ways. Listen, don't bail him just yet. Bail him in about a month, when you get hired at their new location." Man 1 pointed at the cash sack.

"Why are we even bailing the guy anyway? Won't releasing another murderer make situations worse?" Man 2 motioned his hand at the sack.

Man 1 sat back in a chair and looked at Man 2. "We're simply gonna watch shit unfold. Once he gets bailed, soon enough there will only be one Afton standing. And it sure as hell won't be the father."

William's POV

Willow placed her hands on my shoulders and peeked at the paper. "Why don't you take a break from that? You've been stressing about it all evening."

I dropped my pen on the table and ran my hands on my face.

"I know you really want the location to be perfect. I know." Willow sighed against my neck. She pulled away from my shoulders and grabbed something from the counter.

She placed a plain white mug in front of me. "I made you tea. They said the heating system will be out for a few hours, so better warm up now."

I took my hands off my face and looked inside the mug.

She made it with honey instead of sugar. She knows just how I like it.

I smiled at her. God I'm so grateful for her.

"When you're done you can come and sit with Maggie and I by the TV." Willow walked away, playing with her fingers as she spoke to me.

I watched as Willow sat next to Maggie on the couch and went under the blankets with her. They were watching a comedy.

Personally, comedies aren't funny to me.

What is funny though, is watching them with a person who makes fun of it. That's where the real comedy is. They make fun of it so hard that you laugh so much your stomach hurts.

That's who Willow is.

I love Henry and all, but he's more of a rom-com type of guy. Rom-com's are terrible. He cries at them too.

I looked at my papers and back at Willow and Maggie. Maggie's head had been resting on Willow's shoulder.

It was already dark outside. I would have to head home soon.

I clicked my tongue and started packing up my papers.

But I guess I could stay a little longer.

I put away all my stuff and grabbed the mug, leaving the kitchen and walked over to the two.
