Omniscient POV

"So, when are we really gonna make a move?" Margaret leaned over Man 1's desk.

Man 1 chuckled. "Cool it, ginger. The new location hasn't even opened yet."

Margaret rolled her eyes at the name.

The door loudly opened as Dylan walked inside with three medium-sized cups of coffee.

"Is it decaf like I asked?" Man 1 asked.

"Of course." Dylan placed the cups on the desk.

Margaret picked up her frappucino. "No but really. We can't just keep playing around, we have to do something soon."

"A little after William's birthday. Like, a few days after. Maybe even a week. We haven't got to see what happens between the Aftons yet." Man 1 explained, typing on his computer.

"You know.. I've been thinking." Dylan sat on a couch chair.

Man 1 and Margaret diverted their attention to Dylan.

"Hm?" Man 1 hummed.

"Do we.. Do we really have to result in murder? If you think about it, it doesn't really make us the bigger person here. It makes us just as bad as them. Can't we punish them in some other way? I mean, his father was really excited to see him again too." Dylan traced his finger over the rim of the coffee cup.

Man 1 slowly stood and leaned over the desk. "You heard Woman 1. She wants them dead, nothing more, nothing less."

"Woman 1 is dead herself. She wouldn't even know."  Dylan looked up at Man 1.

"Don't you dare speak about her like that. That was my sister." Margaret spat at him, causing Dylan to flinch a little.

"Why don't you think they deserve death? Look at our Woman 1. Look at my.. Woman 1. If she wants them dead, then that's what she gets." Man 1 spoke harshly.

"Yeah and if she told you to get on your hands and knees dressed like a bunny in pink lingerie you'd do it wouldn't you." Dylan muttered under his breath as he brought the coffee cup up to his lips.

"What was that?" Man 1 raised his voice. He walked around the desk and approached Dylan. "What was that you said?"

Margaret covered her mouth as she tried to keep herself from laughing.

"Nothing, it was just-"

"Look at me when you speak to me!" Man 1 grabbed Dylan by the collar, bringing him up from the chair and causing a bit of coffee to splash over him. "I'd like you to repeat that for me."

"There is nothing to repeat. All I'm saying, is that we barely knew Woman 1 for a year before you decided you would dedicate your whole life to her. Weren't you some guy working at Walmart before you met her? You got on your knees and begged a man not to kill you while he pointed a gun at your forehead asking for all the money." Dylan peered at Man 1, smirking as he stared at him in disbelief.

Man 1 stood silent as he stared at Dylan in utter shock. He was holding Dylan by his collar so close that his faded blue hair fell on Dylan's forehead. Dylan could feel Man 1's angry warm breath pass over his nose and cheeks. Man 1 huffed and aggressively pushed Dylan back into the chair. He reached into his back pocket.

"You trying to be a wise ass?" Man 1 pointed and cocked a gun at Dylan's forehead. "You must think you're a comedian, Mr. Cook. How does it feel to be the one with a gun pointed at their head, hm?"

Dylan stared at the center of the gun, where an idle  bullet inside had his name written all over it. His breath was shaky, he didn't move one bit. At this exact moment, he didn't want to do anything to trigger Man 1's anger any more. He was even afraid his breathing might piss him off.

"Any more jokes you'd like to crack? Believe me, that microwave can cook as many popcorn bags as I want. I can sit here and laugh until my face is as red as your forehead will be in two minutes." Man 1 pushed the tip of the gun against Dylan's forehead.

Dylan gulped, his hand beginning to shake and tears prickling at his eyes, hoping this wouldn't be the last thing he sees all because he said something stupid.

"N-No Man 1, P-Please-"

"Alright, alright. Enough." Margaret placed her hand on Man 1's forearm and looked at him. "Dylan's not our target here. William and Willow is. Dylan was just as much as Woman 1's friend as we were. Right Dylan?" Margaret looked at Dylan sternly, trying to get him to at least simply nod his head so he wouldn't wind up dead.

Dylan gulped once again. "Yes, yes! Right."

Man 1 stared harshly into Dylan's eyes. He took Margaret's words into consideration before spinning the gun around his finger smoothly, calmly placing it back into his back pocket. He ran his fingers through his hair that he was planning on re-dying and pointed at Dylan.

"If you care about Woman 1, you'll do this for her. She didn't go through that for nothing. Just for you to be a coward. You agreed to doing this from the moment she said it. You can't change plans now."  Man 1 held back from tears forming in his eyes.

He wasn't the man to be seen crying. But over the course of a few months, Woman 1 and Man 1 developed a close bond. Man 1 fell in love with her, Woman 1 didn't. She always talked about someone else. Woman 1 never knew about the way Man 1 felt, so by the time she was gone, he had never told her.

So to have someone who cared so much about Woman 1, and agree to doing what she said, but then wanting to go against her wishes and seeming like they didn't care as much anymore or they were moving on, upset Man 1.

Man 1 knew just then he overreacted. Dylan was Man 1's best friend before Woman 1 died. Before this whole 'plan' became Man 1's number one goal. He knew Dylan was only making a small joke about how much he cares about Woman 1 since he knew, but by picking him off the chair it only upset Dylan, causing him to bring up the gunpoint situation.

He forcefully kept his tears back, saving them for later. When he was alone in his own home, allowed to sulk and sob over the loss of someone he wanted so deeply to love him back.

He wasn't much of a tough guy that he seemed to be. In fact, he wasn't tough at all. He became so engrossed into his hyper fixation on justice for Woman 1, that he was angered when people didn't care just as much as him.

Man 1 hadn't even realized he was simply spaced out looking at Dylan.

"You.. alright Man 1?" Margaret asked.

Dylan was looking at Man 1 in straight fear.

Man 1 looked at Margaret and paused for a moment before responding to the redhead. "Yeah, I'm fine."

"I-I'm sorry man. I'll stick with the original plan." Dylan calmed his shoulders.

He missed his best friend.

Man 1 nodded. "I think it's time I asked you both to head out for now. I'll call you two in tomorrow."

Margaret looked at him confused, yet understanding him. "Come on Dylan."

Dylan stood quickly and gladly followed Margaret out the door. He believed Man 1 was going mad; insane.

Man 1 sat in his chair and sighed, pulling on his face.

This wasn't the first time William Afton would be breaking his heart. But it certainly would be the last. And he would be sure of that.

He didn't just do digging on William to know all this stuff about him. He personally knew him.

"William and Willow are perfect for one another." Man 1 smirked, tracing something with his finger on the desk.
