Tuesday

I grabbed the mug and went upstairs.

My mom and Maggie went shopping, and thankfully they hadn't asked me anything about last night.

I approached my bedroom door and slowly turned the knob, hoping not to wake him up incase he was still asleep.

I looked inside, William missing from the bed.

I step inside just a little further, to find William at my dresser, picking up things and examining them with a small smile.

I leaned against my doorway and watched him with the coffee mug in my hand.

He walked over to my desk and reached for the drawer when I cleared my throat, causing him to jump and pull his hand away.

"Something caught your eye?" I asked.

He quickly turned around and let out a sigh of relief. "No, no not really." he sat back down on the bed.

I walked over in front of him and sat down. "Good morning"

He smiled and looked around. "It's just as I remember it."

"Seriously? Dang, I was trynna switch it up a little." I sucked my teeth.

William turned back to me and simply looked at my lap.

"I made you coffee.." I held the mug out to him.

He gently took the mug from my hands. "Thank you love."

I nodded my head as William took a sip.

"Do you.. do you still have it?" William asked.

"Do I still have what?" I questioned.

"The Springbonnie." he responded.

I gave him a weird look and chuckled. "No, no I'm pretty sure you have it for your twisted acts."

William rolled his eyes. "No, not the suit. The small robot we made together when we were younger. I made the endoskeleton and you designed it."

I tilted my head and looked off to the side, trying to remember what he was talking about as he looked at me in hope.

Then I remembered the small mechanical bunny sitting at the top and all the way in the back of my closet. No wonder Williams suit looked a bit familiar.

I widened my eyes a little bit. "Oh my god, you still remember that?" I whispered for no apparent reason.

William looked down at the floor. "When me and Henry came up with the idea of Fredbears, he wanted two animatronics. He came up with Fredbear, and wasn't sure what other animal to do. I created Springbonnie because.. because it reminded me of you."

I looked at William as I gripped onto the sides of my seat.

"The entire time I was building Springbonnie, I had only thought of you. You know, when deciding what personality he was going to have, etc." William looked up from the floor and looked at my lap once again.

"I think at some point I contemplated naming him after you, but I guessed that was too much of a drag." William chuckled and looked at me completely. "This stuff is embarrassing, I hate being vulnerable."

"No, no please go on." I motioned my hand.

"But at some point, I had forgotten it all."  William said. "Why do you sit so far love?"
