I. — Through The Window

"She doesn't want to see you, Kuya."

Loki slammed the door before his brother and went near Lorelei. She wiped her tears before eating mango dipped in ketchup.

"You're not pregnant yet your cravings and mood swings are insane. First, you miss my brother, then all of a sudden you don't want to see him. Second, you were laughing, then you suddenly cried. I—Are women on their period really like that?" Loki asked as he crossed his arms.

Lorelei ignored her roommate and finished her mango. Loki sighed as he locked the door to make sure that his brother won't enter and disturb Lorelei.

"I'll be here if you need something, Lori," Loki said and left for his room.

Lorelei nodded her head, even if her flatmate wasn't able to see it. After eating, she decided to read a book but felt dizzy so she stopped.

"Red days, be gone..." she muttered while walking towards her room. She opened the window to breathe some fresh air to ease her dizziness. She heaved out a heavy sigh before flopping on her bed.

Suddenly, she heard scratches from the window. It's not Freya as she's with her Tita Martha. Definitely not another cat as they only have Freya. Not a dog too as dogs couldn't climb that high.

When she turned around, her mouth dropped. Luthor was there, entering through the window. Beads of sweat dripped from his worn-out face and he panted several times. Finally, he entered Lorelei's room.

"W-Why did you enter through the window?" Lorelei asked as she reached for a towel for Luthor. He took it and wiped off his sweat.

"Loki locked the door so I can't pass through there, thus, I improvised."

He tossed the towel aside, grabbed Lorelei's wrist, and pulled her for a hug.

Burying his head on her nape, he asks, "Can I talk to my girlfriend, now?"
